That face, those eyes...how can I resist responding?

Name? Tiffany

Age? Young enough to not have my breasts knock into my knees, and old enough to know better. re: More about you!!

Most memorable experience? I don't know if this is my most MEMORABLE per se, but my first trip to New York was pretty memorable.

Favorite Broadway show? I tend to like the modern musicals and rock operas (Rent, Aida, JCS, Tommy) but my new year's resolution was to edumacate myself on classic plays and musicals, so to broaden my horizons.

And I like Wicked. Don't love it. It's got many flaws, but it's fun fluff, when those Wicklynites don't budge their way in.

re: More about you!!

I won't give out my name and age, but I live in northern Westchester, NY. My favorite shows are RENT and Pippin. My first Broadway show was Guys & Dolls when I was really young. I've been doing theatre since I was 3. I also dance (ballet, tap, jazz). Even though I've loved Broadway since I was little, I've only been obsessed for 3 years (RENT triggered my obsession with Broadway. I fell in love with that, then realized there's so much more out there and fell in love with everything else.) I love almost every rock opera and Broadway show with rock-ish music. My favorite actors are Adam Pascal & Raúl Esparza. That's basically it.
I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

re: More about you!!

well i'm 15, and i'm darn proud of it! haha. I've been in theatre since i was 5. I live out on Long Island about an hour away from the city. I've taken tap, ballet, and jazz since i was 4. My favorite show would have to be either Les Mis, AIDA, or RENT. Adam Pascal is the love of my life, but I share him with about 15 other girls. haha. I've always loved broadway, but have only been obsessed (Aida triggered it) for 4 years. My favorite actors are Adam Pascal, Raúl Esparza, David Ayers, Norbert Leo Butz, and Cheyenne Jackson. My favorite actresses are Eden Espinosa, Lisa Brescia, Karen Olivo, Jennifer Gambatese, and Sutton Foster.

re: More about you!!

HEY! we joined on the same day.

i'm rebecca, by the way.

first show = beauty and the beast. my grandma really got me into broadway. she's one of those people that has seen EVERYTHING and has a collection of playbills from the 50's to the present. we see a show together probably twice a year.

favorite shows = rent, then wicked

age = i don't really want to disclose that to any more people than those that already know, with the current battle going on...

most memorable experience = probably the first time i saw rent. i first heard the CR when i was 8, and the day when my parents finally allowed me to see it was the best EVER. i had 5 years to anticipate it.

No one loves me. I'm home alone most of the time. I masturbate a lot.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

re: More about you!!

What a coincidance!!! Maybe we were meant to meet. I saw it comming, it was written in the stars. Anywho, I have just recently listened to AIDA and i FELL IN LOVE WITH IT (yesterday to be exact). It's amazing music. Heather Headley is all I need for the rest of my life. Her Dance of the Robe and Easy as Life were breathtaking, almost as good a Kathy Voytko. Funny I hav't seen you post that often, what a shame.

That's one of the best cases of bad timing I've seen yet!!!

I'm Jamie, I'm Australian and I'm currently living in Poland.

re: More about you!!

oh and of course we have heard of the musical state fair, both in it's wonderful film version and it's bland stage adaptation

Name: Maris

Age: 20

Most memorable experience: Probably the time I got to see CATS on Broadway, just before it closed. The best part was when I got to pet Rumpleteazer. She parked herself right next to me during "Macavity" and I thought, "What the hell, I'm never gonna get this chance again!"

Favorite show: I would say CATS, but "Beauty and the Beast" has a special place with me because it was the very first professional show I saw, and I was blown away.

Name: Linzy

age: I'm a teenager

where you live: I live around Chicago, in Michigan.

"Perhaps you know where I can find a fog machine" ????

In Australia? I'm in Australia, too, and the streets are LITTERED with them...

By the way, as horrible as "Dirty Dancing" is, the show is a smasheroo and no doubt will be everywhere very soon.

re: More about you!!

All the cool kids are doing it...

I'm Sally. I'm 26 and I'm Australian.
Grew up in a theatre family, started dance at 4, first show was Annie when I was 8. Don't perform much these days as I manage a Theatre Restaurant (Dinner Theatre)
Fave shows off the top of my head Les Mis, Miss Saigon, Into The Woods, Falsettos, LSOH, Baby, Song and Dance...all I can think of right now.

Oh and since it seems almost like a religious persuasion here, I am only just discovering Wicked. But thus far? I love it.

re: More about you!!

Name: Ed

Age: 25

Most memorable experience: Probably seeing the original cast of Rent, or Les Mis in 1997. Any trip away from Ohio is memorable for me. =)

Favorite Broadway show: I'm slowly gaining new ones. The current faves are: The Civil War, Movin' Out, Sherry!, Chess, BatBoy, A New Brain, Parade, Urinetown, and The Last 5 Years.

I also like Wicked for it's entertainment value, not because Idina is "like so freakin' good, omg!" re: More about you!!
