Morning Routine

What do you guys watch/listen to while getting ready in the morning? I usually watch the Today show every morning while I'm getting ready. If not, then I listen to some broadway showtunes! What about you guys?

Depends what time I wake up. If it's too early, absolute silence. And by early, I mean before 9 a.m.

2. Stretch
3. Shower
4. Brush teeth
5. Hop back into bed
6. Watch the Today Show (and, depending on the day, Ellen)
7. Quickly get dressed
8. Grab bookbag
9. Go to class
10. Sleep

I second the XM - it's the first thing I turn on (well, after lights). But the station really, really depends on my mood. Lately I've been listening to Pops Christmas.

If we're getting technical... lol... 1) wake up 2) turn off alarm clock 3) brush teeth 4) take a shower 5) put on my makeup 6) dry my hair 7) straighten my hair grab my books and go to class

I used to have a set routine. This semester I had so much free time in the mornings that I just bummed around forever.

I usually have on the Z Morning Zoo, but now that I'm living in East Bumblefcuk CT and I dont get any New York Stations, I listen to the Hartford County equilivent of the Z Morning Zoo, on KC101.

That's only if it's early and Im getting ready for work. If it's later in the day or Im getting ready to go somewhere fun, I have on some CD really loud.

Hmm...this is a bit off-topic but, you brush your teeth and THEN shower? I always shower first, then brush the teeth...for some reason I found this interesting.

I listen to Bob and Tom on the way to work so don't be ashamed. My husband is the one who started it, but I have become hooked. Its so funny!

I listen to my inner self telling me to get my ass in gear and get out of bed. That's at 5:30 AM, mind you. I shower, then brush.

1. What is that awful noise?!? Mentally thank my husband for turning the alarm clock off.
2. Snuggle with my husband for a few more minutes
3. Get dressed
4. Have breakfast
5. Brush teeth
6. Brush hair
7. Put on makeup if I have time/ feel like it
8. play with the dogs that my husband has just let back in
9. Put dogs back in their room
10. Grab my keys, coat and purse and head to work

(I shower at night, I can't stand going to bed without taking a shower)

I am also a silence of the morning guy. On occasion, I'll flip CNN on, but it's usually pretty quiet until I grab my iPod and start walking to work.

I'm actually not allowed to listen to anything/sing/make any noise because I have to get up earler than anyone else in my family (5 AM) and god forbid they get disturbed.
But my routine is:
Get up
Take shower
Get dressed
Put on makeup
Do hair
Eat something
Brush teeth
Go to school

1) Wake up/turn off alarm/snuggle the kitty
2) Shower
3) Clothes tango until I find the right outfit
4) Makeup
5) Hair
6) Brush Teeth
7) Shoes/jewelry/perfume
Coat/keys/purse and out the door

All this while listening to whatever I'm in the mood for on my laptop. This morning it was Will Hoge. My kitty usually follows me around the house meowing as well. SG usually feeds them because by the time I pick something to wear I'm running late.

I used to listen to Howard Stern but that's over now. So- I get up, turn on tv, make coffee, feed parrot, get in front of computer, eat breakfast, and loll around until I have to go outside! I love it.
