AV Club says Mason Reese...

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Most Terrifying Child Star?

Aww, poor Mason. He did give us a catchword in "Borgashmorg." I'm more terrified by the ones who grow up to be youth pastors. Like the Patridge Family's neighbor, Ricky Seagall.

He looks like the love child of Bruce Vilanch and Harvey Fierstein

LOL @ Ricky Segall. Both THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY and THE BRADY BUNCH added little tykes in their final seasons. Robbie Rist on THE BRADY BUNCH was annoying but Ricky Segall on TPF was downright scary, being subjected to his on air warbling was cruel and unusual punishment. Thank God he was gone by mid-season.

Mason Reese has maggots for fingers and I am going to be haunted by that for the rest of my life.

I know you. I know you. I know you.

I wonder how this poor thing fared in life...

She toured for about a year and a half in a bus and truck production of THE BAD SEED. Then she respectfully retired.

Borstal, she was in a series of these commercials. One was where the juice made her smack her lips. I wanted to smack that Devil Spawn's face!
She probably lives in a trak house somewhere and wears floral print stretch pants.

Mason also worked as a news reporter covering children's stories for awhile on New York's NBC station Channel 4 with Sue Simmons.

In the 1990s, he owned a bar in Greenwich Village.

John Ritter said in Premiere Magazine about PROBLEM CHILD that Michael Oliver really was the problem child from hell. Ritter did the sequel because they offered him a hell of a lot of money.

That sitcom pilot is just all kinds of wrong.

In 1986, I saw Ricky Seagall play Tommy Djilas in a terrible dinner theatre production of THE MUSIC MAN in Omaha.

To be fair, he was only doing such a small role because he'd just completed a run in the lead of BRIGHTON BECAH MEMOIRS and was next up to repeat the role in BILOXI BLUES.

She was the one who bullied Jan into that black wig!!

Her voice was SOOO annoying.

I'm telling you now so I won't have to tell you later: Lay. Off. Pam. Ferdin.

That girl did everything: Lassie, The Monkees, Bewitched, Apple's frickin Way and on and on. That's middle Brady with the personality disorder had it coming.

Yes! Lay off Pamelyn Ferdin. She was also in Disney's THE ONE AND ONLY GENUINE, ORIGINAL FAMILY BAND and was the voice of "Fern" in the 1973 animated feature film, CHARLOTTE'S WEB.

She was frickin' EVERYWHERE on TV during my childhood! Sorry, that voice puts her up for nomination.

I loved Apple's Way.

She was also the voice of Lucy in Peanuts cartoons once or twice.

AND she was the little girl's voice in Charlotte's Web.

LEAVE. PAM. ALONE.

LOL

Go, Mason!

Yes, Pam did have a throat constriction problem. She may have been a trailblazer in the field of glottal fry.

See, I knew I'd piss off besty! I'm surprised you two others are defending her. And noone mentioned she played Felix's daughter.

Well, she WAS everywhere in my childhood, as you say. Maybe we were besties in my little kiddie mind.

She was cute!

I remember she was up for Regan in The Exorcist, too, so I'm surprised you aren't admiring just a tad more, doodle!

I seriously can't stand that anymore ever since Samantha B spoofed it on Colbert's show.

I love my HGTV, but they have a couple of narrators (not hosts, but the off-screen VO gals) who do it ALL THE TIME.

Drives me to drink.

Pam wouldn't have needed no Mercedes McCambridge.

Doodle, I think as a kid I grew sick of seeing her everywhere too, but then I remember bawling my eyes out during her lengthy arc on Lassie. She was a little deaf girl who had her hearing restored and the first thing she heard was Lassie barking as she ran towards her in a field. My eyes are welling up as I type.

Nowadays she does time in jails for animal activism. She kinda makes me think of Molly Shannon in "Year of the Dog."
