Call me a loser but, to kinda sorta impress a girl I like, I'm thinking of singing to her something from a Broadway musical. Which sort of song would be most appropriate for this and is this the stupidest possible thing I could do?
Yeah...

My Unfortunate Erection.
No... My first thought is 'First You Dream' from Steel Pier.
=)
GOOD LUCK!!!!
That's adorable!
Is she into theatre though? It may be awkward if she didn't know what the hell you're singing.
If Ever I Would Leave You...just kidding. If it were more serious then it would be the perfect song. So you only like this girl- does she reciprocate your feelings?

I would assume so...

How is it adorable? I'm kind of a loser.
Oh, shush. Don't be so hard on yourself. What you're doing is so sweet and brave!
you're not a loser...you're a theatre kid!!!!!
Run Away with Me. Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown.
Whoever proposes to me better use that song...not only because it says my name in it, but because it's absolutely beautiful.
My favourite romantic make-up song is undoubtedly, "Next Time You Fall in Love" from Starlight Express...

The most romantic song ever, bar none: There but for you go I- Brigadoon
This is hard to say, but as I wandered through the lea,
I felt for just a fleeting moment that
I suddenly was free of being lonely.
Then I closed my eyes and saw the very reason why.
I saw a man with his head bowed low.
His heart had no place to go.
I looked and I thought to myself with a sigh:
There but for you go I.
I saw a man walking by the sea,
Alone with the tide was he.
I looked and I thought as I watched him go by:
There but for you go I.
Lonely men around me, trying not to cry,
Till the day you found me, there among them was I.
I saw a man who had never known a love that was all his own.
I thought as I thanked all the stars in the sky:
There, but for you, go I.

I totally agree dramatothemax.
Let's go anywhere, say the word and I'm already there!
Sighh...I might be singing that for a showcase this summer. That or FLIGHT
i may be a little late, but one of my favorites (as cliche as it is) would have to be 'it takes two' from hairspray.
i'm not a good singer in the least bit, but i made my girlfriend a mixtape of different broadway tunes to show her that i was "thinking of her, which shows i care..." haha, but yeah, i beat you to it. and i too, am a huge loser.
