In any 50's horror flick, how come the damsel in distress screams instead of running away? The monster could be 100 yard away & she could crawl away but instead she just screams until the monsyer is upon her
In Phantom, where did the horse come from ?
And why was it it there, Pet Food Maybe ?
In Rent, what happened to Benny's wife?
The horse was a "Phantom" horse, meaning it came from nowhere
It is the proverbial " horse you rode in on "
In Phantom, how did Joel Scuhmacer become the director?
I guess Andy thought he could pull it off. Truth be told, we kind of liked it. There have been worse adaptations

In the Wizard of Oz, why doesn't Glinda just tell Dorothy to immediately click her heels three times? Why does Glinda make Dorothy go through all that danger?
Because she's a nasty bitch.
Titanic -- We're being told the story by old Rose. So, how did she know all these things that happened to Jack, Cal, the ship's captain, etc. when she wasn't around?
I don't know if I'd call that a plot hole -- more like a narrative convention that's usually justified by suspension of disbelief.

In War of the Worlds none of the cars work except for that one van that magically starts up. I know they needed a car for the story but they could have just had some cars break down and not all of them with the exception of this one so that it would not be so obvious.
they explained why that car worked in the god awful WOTW. tom cruise figured out how to fix it and the mechanic did it, which is why tom stole that car in the beginning of the movie.
In Chinatown- Jake Gittes is given crucial info by some one which leads to his uncovering the water scam BUT the person who gives him the clue was a hired performer & would never had had access to such secret information.
Only kinda a plot hole but it bugs me- In the Untouchables the big capture scene on the stairway a shot is fired & the henchman oozes a drop of bld frm his mouth slides down the wall revealing a mess of bld & brain but since we are in a tight closeup-- WHERE DID THE BULLET ENTER?? His Nose??
The Passion - How did Jesus converse with the officials who were ruling in regards to his death? He didn't speak Latin! (unless you're making the argument that he's God and therefore could speak Swahili if he wanted to).

Batman Begins - If there really were to be a microwave emitter like that turned on, it would kill humans too. Not just evaporate the water supply.
Kiss the Girls (I was just watching it on cable last weekend) - They couldn't find the location of the underground tunnels because it was so deep in the forest and they couldn't pinpoint the location because Judd's character wandered far down the river before being recovered. However, from the place where she jumped, there was a huge waterfall. If the just went a couple of miles upstream of where she was discovered and looked for a major landmark like a WATERFALL, then they would only have a mile or two radius to search, depending on the approximate amount of time she had been running in the forest. I can't believe that was overlooked. I couldn't get it out of my head for half the film.
In Minority Report why the hell don't they turn off Tom Cruise's characters eyeball scan access to the precrime lab?
King Ralph -- He has an official visit from King Mulambon of Zambezi. But no such monarch exists.
oh dear lord, calvin, if THAT is your biggest problem with king ralph, i dare to say that you have larger issues.
GLADIATOR-----Why didn't Joaquin Phoenix have Russell Crowe killed at the beginning? He's the emperor, surely he could have arranged a "hit".
ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING---Why don't they ask for help at the blues club?
Well, that and the fact of what country wouldn't want John Goodman as their king? And how much of the Lawrence of Arabia money did Peter O'Toole have to blow before he appeared in that? And why wouldn't the king fall in love with Joely Richardson with that hot voice? And is "Good Golly Miss Molly" really the most jaw-dropping, shocking song they could come up with?
I wrote my master's thesis as a compare and contrast of this film and "Uncle Buck" on how unexpected power causes man to mature.
Oh, and what the hell is a powerhouse singer like Liza/Sally doing in a dive like the Kit Kat Club?

Home Alone 2
After what happened in Home Alone, you would think the parents would have chained that kid to their bodies.
And where was social services? Parents have been jailed and kids put in foster homes for less.

"Oh, and what the hell is a powerhouse singer like Liza/Sally doing in a dive like the Kit Kat Club?"
Victoria Grant was getting all the good gigs.
"Oh, and what the hell is a powerhouse singer like Liza/Sally doing in a dive like the Kit Kat Club?"
The nice clubs are less fun.
I'm amazed someone actually saw King Ralph.
You should be more amazed that "someone" actually remembered plot points of King Ralph well enough to make a commentary on it. Or should that be concerned? Or, in my case, embarassed.
Calvin - I think probably the most amazing thing is that not that you included it in your thesis, but that you actually remembered that film in order to use it. I completely forgot it existed until today.
