Let's start with King Kong:
Carl Denham brings King to NYC - Kong wreaks havoc & nothing happens to him
Bigger one : Kong falls from the top of the Empire State . A mass of weight that large & heavy would make a bigger impression and/or be a bigger mess than is shown
Flightplan. The whole movie.
The original "The Fly"
If he has a fly head on him but still possess his human mind, how can his mind still be on the human head on the fly body ?
There's more hole than plot in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Why did the opera house explode in raging flames when the chandelier fell? If it was on fire, why did the mob run further down into the theatre, instead of getting the hell out? Why is the Daae tomb fit for an emperor, when Christine's father was a poor violinist? Why do Madame Giry and Raoul look the same age in the present? Why, if the Phantom is such an illusionist, can't he just put on some stage makeup to cover his mildly embarassing skin condition?

My question is why does Madame Giry just get a few wrinkles, while Raoul completely changes when he's older?
She uses exceptional moisturizer.
Why are they doing the vogue during "Masquerade"? Why can't Emmy Rossum project? Why is she wearing a nighty for the entire film? Why doesn't she try to save Raoul when he's all tied up, instead of just standing there, looking stupid?

Are you talking about the beginning? I always thought that was Meg.
Also regarding Phantom, why does Christine stop Raoul from killing the Phantom in the graveyard, when in the very next scene they are planning an elaborate ruse to trap him?
Hehe! I totally agree about all of the Phantom of the Opera plot holes. I always want to scream at Christine during the lair scene--is she too afraid of getting her dress wet to try to do anything to help Raoul?
I thought it was little Meg at the end.

In Joel Schumacher's movie of Phantom Of The Opera, I always wondered how The Phantom got a personal trainer and cosmetic dentist to visit him in the lower depths of the Paris Opera, to say nothing of how he got the Paris Post Office to deliver his packages from International Male.
In the remake of War Of The Worlds, why did the Martians come to our planet millions of years ago to bury those giant machines, and then go home and wait millions of years before coming back to start the giant machines up and take over? How come not a single solitary one of those machines has ever been dug up, considering all the drilling and digging that has been going on all over the world in those intervening millions of years?

How is Carl Denham's safety at the end of King Kong a hole in the plot? I think Denham would have made very sure of his own safety during Kong's rampage.
What about the giant slab in 2001 ?
Mad magazine had a devastating parody called : 2001 Minutes Of A Space Idiocy " & the slab became a prehistoric handball court
In SIGNS, why did the aliens, who can be destroyed by water, want to invade a planet that is 75% water, and to attack human bodies which are 80% water?
War of the Worlds-
'Cause they had to wait for Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning to be born! Duh!
The giant slab was found on the moon, which the human race was only beginning to mine.
Fatal Attraction - who the hell would have an affair with Bad Perm Glenn when they had Miss Anne Archer at home??
I would rather be killed by the aliens than listen to one more word of dialog from Tim Robbins
Shawshank Redemption - How does that poster get back on the wall?
A.I - If stuff going inside the robot down their throat is harmful then is it really necessary for them to have a hole in their throat leading down inside where stuff can get in?
OK Blue Wizard
The ending of 2001. It is supposed to be a classic but no clue what the hell it means
Yeah, 2001's ending is a bit of an acid trip. The book is much clearer, though.
Whoops, thank you. I'll make the appropriate changes. That's twice today!
Since we can assume that Dumbledore knows pretty much everything about Harry's parents - why doesn't he just sit him down and tell him when needs to be known instead of putting Harry (and everyone else) in harms way?
In Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - why are there only the exact # of seats in the Boat as people. Did Wonka know 2 people would already be gone?

Another Phantom hole: The Phantom and Raul fight in a snow-covered graveyard. Raul is just about to kill the Phantom when Christine, for some bizarre reason, says: "No, Raul! Not this way!" Raul, stupidly, lets the Phantom go. Then, in the very next scene, Raul hatches a plan to catch the Phantom.
Why does he want to catch the guy he just let go free? Why didn't he just kill the guy when he had the chance?
