What Hollywood star & icon had the following happen to him:
A big movie of the 60's was planned. One major star was asked to play a pivotal role & he declined. This person replaced him & basically chewed up the scenery in the movie which was a big flop. He was the best thing in the movie
He was than signed about 3 or 4 years later to do what was to be a real money making movie - which turned into a huge flop. The original star balked, this guy was signed & the original star than backtracked & decided he wanted to do it. This same party was paid $ 300,000 to basically do nothing as the studio had to honor his contract.He was probably glad he did as his career might have been different after appearing in 2 MAJOR flops
