Coal Miner's Daughter
Sweet Dreams

Lines from those films have creeped into my everyday speak.

"Doo? Whar's Doo?"
"Girl, speak the truth and shame the devil."
"Say hello to your sister before you worry aboutcher belly."

All delivered, of course, with the appropriate backwoods accent.

EddieVarley - that pic of yours is one of the most frightening images of all time - its used in The Exorcist (as I'm sure you know)...it has always been a horrific image to me!
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

My avatar is a reminder to myself. I need lots of reminders...

re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: movies you can watch over & over again

When I was in high school, we were going to sing "Seize the Day" in chorus, but on the line "we'll slay the giant," it went down in the arrangement rather than up like the film soundtrack. I think one of the reasons we wound up not doing it was because everyone who knew the movie sang it the right way and irritated the hell out of our chorus director.
