Months and months ago...we made a list of movies I hadn't seen, with Wizard of Oz at the top of the list! I finally typed it up, and movies I have seen have a red dot next to them!

Ooh, did you like Adam's Rib? I love that movie. And you need to see Casablanca as of yesterday. :) Updated On: 8/24/05 at 05:37 PM
I LOVED Adam's Rib. I also enjoyed "Bringing Up Baby", and "Woman of the Year"
I don't know if they're on the list, but...
Double Indemnity
A Place in the Sun
Taxi Driver
The Elephant Man
All About Eve
Pulp Fiction
Bonnie & Clyde
Gone with the Wind
Casablanca
The Hustler
Tootsie
There's many, many more titles on that list that you should see!
Double Indemnity and The Hustler...."added"

You need to put a Alfred Hitchcock section.

Oooh, The Hustler was just at the Grant Park Outdoor Film Festival here in Chicago last week. It was so cool to see it on the big screen. It's an amazing movie and Piper Laurie is brilliant!
I don't like horror or scary...
It took a lot to get "Psycho" on there.

It's foreign.
Hitler's last days in his bunker. It's gripping.

Downfall or Engagement?
I need to see that one soon. Audrey Tautou is great.

A Very Long Engagement kind of blended in my mind with the book, and the combination made me cry like a baby. Both the book and movie are very good.
If L.A. Confidential isn't on the list, it should be. But I'm a bit of a sucker for noir.

Oh yeah she is.
If you like foreign films, theres:
You, I Love (Russian gay love film)
Bad Education (starring Gael Garcia Bernal)
Y Tu Mama Tabien (also starring Gael Garcia bernal)
Les Choristes (French film)
Um, and Ladies in Lavender, but that's not a foreign film.

I thought Les Choristes was kind of meh, but to each their own.
A Very Long Engagement, Amelie and LA Confidential are all required viewing.
How about O Brother, Where Art Thou? I'm a bit of a sucker for some of the Coen brothers' work.
I must concur with those who add Tracy and Hepburn films, and HItchcock films.

I thought it had a good story.. and for weeks afterwards, I was yelling at everyone, calling them "Morhange!" Only the two other people knew what I was talking about, everyone else thought I was nuts.
Kinda like I tell everyone "Boo, you whore!" now.
