In America, the only movie I cried the whole movie
Dumbo, especially when his mom is rocking him
Little bits of the end of Phantom and Finding Neverland, not terrible
The End of the King and I always gets me
Pride of the Yankees
ET was a huge one, the first time I ever cried in a movie theatre(when I thought he might die and when he left at the end)
And Jeff, I totally agree about Field of Dreams! It is one of my absolute favorite movies and I have watched it soo many times and I have NEVER made it through without crying. The first time I started bawling during the "Dad, you wanna have a catch" line, but now I'll start even before that during this line, which is one of my favorites:
Ray's Dad: "Is this heaven?"
Ray: "It's Iowa...is there a heaven?"
Ray's Dad: "Oh yeah. It's the place where dreams come true."
::Ray turns around and takes in and looks around the entire field::
Ray: "Maybe this is heaven."
Oh boy, I'm tearing up as I write the line.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
