The "Stand By Me" thread made me think of this.
I've never seen "Stand By Me."
Many people gasp when I tell them.
Many also gasp when I tell them I've never seen The Goonies, Pretty in Pink, The Labyrinth, and a lot of other 80s classics...
Not to mention Speed, Speed 2, Pulp Fiction, The Godfather, or pretty much every Adam Sandler movie except 50 First Dates.
So what movies have you never seen that always surprises/shocks people when you tell them?

All of the Star Wars movies.
And my mother didn't let me watch The Wizard of Oz growing up since she hated it with a passion, so I was 19 before I saw it. (I won't comment on how many years ago that's been)
All of the Indiana Jones movies.

Name nearly any Best Picture Oscar winner. I hate being told I have to appreciate something just because someone else decided it was important.
starletta, when I was in high school, I made my boyfriend watch The Wizard of Oz, just so he would understand what I kept talking about. He had an even better excuse (he lived in Nigeria until he was 12) but still, that movie and Mary Poppins were my entire childhood.
