I thought it was hilarious. I wish that people here would be this creative when doing "flash mob" kinds of things, instead of just disrupting workers at Best Buy and such.

This is humankind at it's goofy best; just having fun, bringing smiles to people's faces, not inconveniencing anyone. This kind of thing does more good to the general well-being of the world than 10,000 screaming protesters, no matter what their issue.

Even a curmudgeon like me, who loathes THE SOUND OF MUSIC smiled at that. But...Julie Andrews almost always makes me smile.
singtopher, if I were in NYC, I would definetly be in! That was way too much fun! And I love how they threw the remix in! That was better than the one they did at Grand Central. (Which I just missed while visiting that year!)
Cute, and wow.
You know what'd be cool? For a bunch of people (dressed like regular commuters, of course) to suddenly put on a song in Grand Central. Scarily, I have the song I'd want to do, plus the whole production storyboarded in my head.
This sort of reminds me of Food Court Musical

YES! I love the Food Court Musical (and fyi, if you look closely @ 42 seconds you can see Aretha Franklin)
After the truly MISERABLE day I've had this is the first thing today to make be feel like life might just be worth pesuing after all. Thanks so much for the link Craig!

The Sound of Music always has a joyful/winsome effect on people!
I'm in for Grand Central!
t-mobil made a commercial in the train station in London. Same idea, but with an amazing megamix of music. It's on "that site".
It was truly amazing. Search on T Mobil Dance. They used something like 400 dancers, weeks of rehearsal...and had 3x as many spectators.
