Myspace vs. Facebook

Facebook is just ideal for the college student. You just know darn well that there's going to be a ton of new pictures on the newsfeed after a big weekend to make fun of. Everything is clear and easy to find, for the most part, and the friend updates and notifications are convenient.

The only thing I hate about Facebook is when the person has so many applications that it takes 5 minutes to find their wall.

MySpace is much more of a self-expression site, where you can have any layout and any background. I'm just sick of how easy it is for spammers to send you things. In all of my time using both websites, I've gotten ONE fake friend request on Facebook and about 200 on MySpace. Ugh.

I have both, but tend to use myspace a bit more. I think both have the same amount of positives and negatives for me.

SOMMS: I knew it was Tink!

Facebook all the way. Since I got Facebook, I hardly ever go on Myspace.

MySpace has gone down the drain since it has been taken over by spammers.

Not to mention that most MySpace pages make my computer have a seizure.

Facebook is simple and organized, and what I like most about it is that every person lists their first and last name, so it puts more responsibility on being yourself and being held responsible for what you write and post, because it's really YOU and not some fake identity.
