Well, it's more like the ideal evening: :)
1. An action movie or thriller
2. A romantic comedy
3. Turn the TV off...
and on a later date:
1. a drama
2. a romantic comedy
3. a selection from delivermale.com...

Awwwwwwww! I added some SPICE!
Netflix has a excellent library of films!
Such a great way to see a film without feeling like you wasted money on it if a. it sux or b. you want to buy it and you haven't wasted 4-5 bucks on a film rental you could have just bought.

Beav..I wasn't getting broken discs..that was someone else! I was bitching about their poor selection of classic movies. When I want a Joan Crwaford movie, I want more than just Mildred Pierce, Baby Jane and The Women!
Granted, I did do what penguin suggested and enter each movie by title and yes...more movies show up that way!

I just sent Elaine back and got "Sunday"
I think many of us are just sending the same disks to each other.
I'm glad I was able to help out JustMe!

I swtiched to Blockbuster online. Pretty much the same selection and cheaper. There is a trial in my link.
Try Blockbuster Online

it is not cheaper. Blockbuster online lists this as their price for 3 movies
3 at a time
Unlimited rents $17.99 for 1 month(s)
plus applicable tax
here is what is on the Netflix website, and what I pay
Our most popular plan, 3-at-a-time and unlimited DVDs is $17.99 (plus any applicable tax) per month
so, it's the same exact price

I joined Netflix last spring and loved it for a long time -- good selection, movies came quickly, and only one cracked disc in the whole bunch.
Recently, it's rapidly gone down hill. It took almost a week to get my shipment last time (I'm in Chicago -- not exactly the middle of nowhere) and two movies that I've had at the top of my queue (one for two months) have yet to ship. The even more irritating part is that two other people in my office both had one of the movies (okay -- it's Fever Pitch) in their queues, and both got the movie with no wait. My own conspiracy theory is that they are new members and that Netflix does what it can to keep the new members satisfied.
I'm cancelling at the end of the week.
