Thanks, eh! Just petting my pet Moose and trying to keep warm in my igloo.
Welcome to the boards. I like your sense of humor. I was in Vancouver and Victoria about 15 years ago. The ferry ride was so beautiul and so were the Buchart Gardens (sorry- don't think I spelled that right)and Stanley Park. BC is one of the prettiest places I have ever been and I also loved the area on the water in victoria where the House of Parliament is. Someday, I hope to take my kids there. Have a wonderful holiday! mom
Haha, thanks! BC does rock, it's absolutely gorgeous. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit! And the schools are great, so if you wanna pre-think about university for the kids...I can vouch for BC!
Hmmm, I have flannel "moose" sweats on I got in WA...cold her today.
BC is quite nice.....that and Quebec are the nicest parts of Canada, and the two parts I think the US should annex (kidding....well maybe)
We used to go up to Victoria a lot when I was a kid, back in the Dark Ages
The only thing about BC that bugs me is the lack of snow.
I'm a snoooow gal.
If you like Lee Pace, then you're all right with me, kid.
I'm from Maine (not too close to Canada) and you're more than welcome to our share of snow.
"Yes, the brutalities of progress are called revolutions. When they are over, men recognize that the human race has been harshly treated but it has moved forward." - Les Miserables
Pushing Daisies is fantastic.
Thank you! I'll just WISH the snow into my room right now and eat some. =-)!

Radiohead "aren't indie anymore"? Technically I think they're indier than they've ever been at this point.
Also, has Akiva tried to blow your boyfriend yet?
Well Radiohead is a very, very successful band. I don't mean 'not indie anymore' as an insult, more so on how they've changed, and grown. But looking back, I phrased it kind of stupidly, haha.

So he has blown your boyfriend! Good for you for being so open minded. I know Akiva is so far on the DL he's in the catacombs and it's awkward for me to bring up the big pink elephant in the room, but really, we love him here just the way he is.
Hi and welcome!
I love both your music taste (I have Sweeney Todd AND Regina Spektor right next to each other) and your location (I go to college in Seattle, and am intimately familiar with the train and ferries to Vancouver.)
Welcome again!
I drove through Seattle for the Sasquatch Festival two summers ago! Good times.
Namo,
Don't worry...I am not blowing her boyfriend. I am faithful only to you, and your mangina.
Akiva
Not that he hasn't tried.
