Fortunately, I get the NY equivalent of this channel.
This man is such a disaster. As if I needed one more reason to loathe him.
The end of NJN?

Posted: 9/2/10 at 10:41pmSeriously, there is something wrong with him and with the voters in NJ. He has not done a THING since January that I've even come close to agreeing with. In fact, I think I've disagreed with EVERY policy he's tried to put through - this is just another in a long line.

Posted: 9/3/10 at 2:07amI'm hoping this Race for the Top fiasco finally catches up with him. He screwed this up so badly, and is making the lamest attempt at a cover-up....just move on, nothing to see here...

He is a total disaster, but he is doing almost exactly what he campaigned on. So, we're getting what we deserve. Shame on the Dems for running the unelectable Corzine, and shame on NJ voters.
By the way, Christie was caught in outright lies regarding the recent education funding fiasco. He misstated facts regarding the events, then tried to shift the blame to Bret Schundler. This piece by Rachel Maddow provides the details.
Christie's lies

shame on NJ voters
Not everyone voted for him.
This is something I most certainly do not like.

I'll take part of the blame, because I held my nose and voted for Corzine the first time during my brief tenure as a New Jersey resident. Even Doug Forrester wouldn't be worse than this current bozo.
What frightens me is how beloved he is by the tea party crowd and how that might give a needless boost to his position in the Republican party.

Eris - I didn't vote for him either, but enough people did that he's now destroying our state - so shame on NJ for not having enough people to vote AGAINST him. I know Corzine was no superstar, but he was practically a saint next to Christie.
Calvin - I agree. It's amazing when you go on nj.com and read comments how there are some people who support him regardless of what lies or unethical things he does. They take his word literally on the Race to the Top thing - saying Shundler admitted he's wrong, Christie said Schundler was wrong - that's the end of the story. Right?
