Brother works in local politics. Everyone in his office has a gut feeling that he is going to resign.
Keep in mind, that he did whatever he could to end prostitution in NY state and now look at where he is.
Although, this did get me and my brother (and people who he worked with for that matter) to think of this onion headline
"Homosexual tearfully admits to being governor of New Jersey."
This of course was during the Mcgreevy story.
I don't know why it got me to think of it but it did. Maybe because they both involve back door sex acts ( that just came across as a BAD gay joke)

Do something those other Senators did not and should have. I think the story may die faster and it would be better for the party and his family. Just my 2 cents.

The Democratic Party can't afford the scandal at the moment. I'm sure they are pushing Spitzer to resign.
Hillary & Obama are at each other over POTUS. Florida & Michigan still have to be decided. A Democrat-controlled Congress is not doing anything they've set out to do. The Democrats can't afford the hassle.
