In the Rasmussen tracking poll for the past week, Hillary moves into a substantial lead. Obama seems to have flatined at 44, while Hillary picks up more and more of the Undecideds:

And Gallup says Obama and McCain have been tied since Pennsylvania. Now McCain is moving into a substantial lead:

Lets face it--this year, 3 rumored bitches (but who are actually quite lovely) are taking the top prize: Patti LuPone, Laura Benanti, and Hillary Clinton.

Its the Year of the Bitch!!

The Republican "slime machine" will NOT eat Hillary alive. They've been trying for years, and guess what? SHE'S STILL STANDING. Every time they come up with some benchmark she HAS to hit to stay in the game ("if she doesn't take Pennsylvania by 10 points, she doesn't stand a chance") she nails it. Her Senate career (which was supposed to be an empty gesture and joke) has endured. And any attempt to haul out the tattered old Whitewater/Lewinsky/Travelgate banners will be instantly tuned out by an American public grown weary of manufactured political "scandals." Anything new Republicans dig up along those lines will just sound tired and desperate, and will only win over the far-right conservative base who wouldn't vote for her anyway.

I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."

Look- a nice thing about HC!

"During the annual North Carolina Democratic Party's Jefferson Jackson Dinner tonight, Hillary Clinton said she will not only back Barack Obama if he is the party’s nominee, she will work hard for him.

“If Senator Obama is the nominee, you better believe I’ll work my heart out for him,” Clinton said."

Bravo, Mrs. Clinton. You made me feel much better.

And Obama said the same thing about her. The speeches from that dinner are in the video link my UNITY thread.

He says very clearly:

"If Hillary Clinton were the nominee, I would support her in a heartbeat."

But only her comment is covered by the Hillary-hating press, as if it were an admission of defeat.

And here I was counting how many times PJ said there was no way for Obama to win in the fall.
