Posted: 9/1/09 at 11:52amBecome my FB "friend" (PM me) and click on my link on "restaurant Reviews". I live on 9th ave, next to the Little Pie Co (there's outdoor chairs and tables and a mini (cement/tree) park, too betw. 9th and 10th, too, and is right across the St. from the Westside Theater). Lots of actors, old and young hang out inconspicously around here and are very nice) Also ck. out GOLDSTAREVENTS.com(free registration) for fabulous, cheap mini cruises. Even as a NYer myself, I love to take advantage of these mostly unknown el cheapos - other venues, too, incl. theatre, music, etc. Love the nabe and you might find some interesting choices on my personal list (i DID write it ages ago, and there lots of new places. Afghan Kebab House, 52nd and 9th is the oldest place in the nabe and is still awesomely delish and BYOB (not fancy, but cozy...) NY is just the place to walk around in and find your own joints. Happy eating, etc.
