We just rescued the most beautiful dwarf kitty...she's small and won't get much bigger.

We named her Eliza after Eliza Doolittle because we found her in the gutter and have since made her a true sophisticated lady. She also has big eyes and is very needy. Just like Eliza. :)

Just to add to Jerby's story of naming an animal for a reason...which I fully believe in. Not to thread jack.

And I think to name your cat from the show Cats is really not a good idea. Sorry if anyone has already done that.

careful what you pick ... the vet warned me that whatever I picked he'd grow into ... I named him Moose after Mike Mussina on the Yankees but apparently the cat misunderstood - cause he grew to be HUGE like a moose instead of developing a pitching arm.

my cousin named her cat Mr. Fluffy Tabtabikans II. yes, there was a Mr. Fluffy Tabtabikans I. don't ask me why she names her pets bizarre names.

please don't humiliate ur cate and named it something awful like that.

hmmm..I have one cat named "Phoebe'..which was my improvement on the name they gave her at the shelter, "Piggy". I figured it was similar sounding and wouldnt' confuse her too much.


The other one is named "Aria"....partly because I'm a singer, but mostly because when I took her in she liked to "sing". It was only later that we learned it was because she was in heat!

You would just have to know this evil cat. I adore her, but she is SATAN. She hates everyone but my immediate family. My brother's girlfriend started staying over and the cat basically tried to kill her...lol.

I adopted two kittens last week that I had fostered since their birth. One I named Callie (she's a calico and we always just called her "Callie" cause I try really hard not to name my fosters. The other I named Angel, mostly cause she's all white, but also seemed a fitting tribute to RENT.
