Yeah, and that line "You'll be my queen and I'll be your moat" struck me as kind of homophobic and too graphicly sexual.

wait wait wait...so you're saying that Rent doesn't capture the gritty reality of HIV and poverty in the Village during the 80's?
I always thought that all homeless people and strippers sang and were really wholesome underneath.

Rent1 or Rent2?

I gotta say RENT2 because you get to see the stagehands walking around. And my friend tried taking pictures, but some ushers said it was illegal. WHY IS THAT??
