Sort of a random question, but I've noticed my hair is thinning and while I'm a young, healthy guy, I'd like to prevent it from getting worse. Any ideas? I know there are no "solutions" to the problem, but anything that might help?
Post pictures and then I will give you a few!
Acceptance.
Could be a possible iron deficiency! Try an iron supplement.
Adult men should not take iron supplements unless recommended to do so by a doctor.
In all honesty, I've never heard of a natural hair loss remedy, at least in what I think of as "natural"
I, myself, have been loosing my hair since I was 19. My mother tried to fight back hard, giving me all these treatments, and paying for the whole nioxin system. Let me tell ya, I've been using that shampoo for 5 years now, and I have a hell of a lot less hair on my head now then I did then. Perhaps it may work for you.
I've never used Propecia, but I've heard it's effective. There are some good hair transplant doctors out there, but $14,000 is on the low end of the spectrum, so that is way out of reach for me.
I say acceptance because, hey, that's just life. We're getting older, some of us a little faster than others. It's not like I did something wrong in my past and now I have to "suffer" from male pattern baldness. Would I love to have a huge coif of hair like I did in high school? Sure. But I'd rather not fight it and look desperate.
I recently had some hair loss as a side affect of having surgery. My hair dresser suggested taking biotin supplements. I don't know how much they helped, since mine was stress related and stopped on it's own, but it couldn't hurt.
