Have an audition in two weeks time and need a Pre-1960s Lyrical Ballad. In the style of Rogers and Hammerstein, Cole Porter, etc..
Was wondering what you thought of using a song from Brigadoon, Almost like being in love. Does this count as a lyrical ballad.
Also any other suggestions greatly appreciated! Thinking of using Sunset Boulevard or Tonight at eight for my contrasting song.

Hmm not sure its the right song for me tbh. Have been looking at afew others, people will say we're in love and surrey with the fringe on top from Oklahoma but am still unsure by the term lyrical ballad :S
Still wondering if Almost like being in love from Brigadoon would count.
