Thanks for that headsup!!!
I can't wait to hear how they explain Jesse's return from the dead on AMC.
You're welcome! Luckily I was doing something else while watching GH, so I wasn't forwarding through the commercials. I always liked Darnell, so I'm looking forward to it. I'm sure I'll see this thread bumped during that hour. If your ears are ringing, it's just me cursing you out!
I'm curious to see how he comes back, too.

Can I post at 2 pm? With spoilers on top?
When I see the thread bumped anytime after 1:00, I avoid it. Even though it kills me. Tomrrow's avoidance time will be after 11. Post away. I'll just sit there cussing you!

No spoiler here!
There was a very funny moment on the view with the three of them!
The one where they were asked why they came back and Darnell made the motion with his fingers indicating moola?
He's still a cutie!!
Enough with the "Real Greenlee" crap already!

No, not that one. I thought it was funny when Sherri said to Darnell, "Didn't you die?", as video of him on his deathbed was running in the background. "Yeah, I died, he said, "but not REALLY." then they all cracked up.
I have to admit though, that it IS good having the "real" Greenlee back!
Ah, yeah, that was funny, too.
I just feel bad for the other girl. I remembered the one thing that bothered me about this one is her eyes. I find them kind of "buggy".

Maybe they're a little wide open-ish, but I don't find them buggy. I actually just love her! I think she's really cute! In a platonic way, lol!
Yeah, I guess "wide open-ish" works.

FYI - the headwriters of the show are actually not striking, as they've claimed financial core status to continue working on the show. For what it's worth.
Can I just give a plug for OLTL? People who haven't been watching for the past 6-7 months do NOT know what they are missing. There's a reason most of the soap rags and sites have been calling OLTL either Most Improved or Best Soap of 2007. It's fantastic stuff, folks!
Back to AMC-Jesse walked into Frankie's hosp. room in the last scene on Fri-I guess today we find out how they explain his return!
I love that they are bringing Jesse back (Debbie Morgan kind of annoys me) and Darnell was such a revelation back in the early 80s...such a gifted actor. I stopped watching, but saw him YEARS later off broadway as an almost non speaking intern in W;t...it kind of broke my heart, so I hope he's getting some big bucks...even if it's lame that he lived.
Any chance of getting Kim Delaney? HA!
And that whitebread boyfriend of hers, back then on the show, is now doing commercials for Pearl vision centers...he has time...bring him back too!
I thought Greg was so cute back then. Hey if Jesse can come back after being shot, Jenny can get put back in one piece.
Jane, I read somewhere that the Kendall/Aidan coupling is NOT going to result in a pregnancy. Someone associated with the show said they have too many kids running around there already. Who knows, though.

I think Darnell is getting the big bucks, doodle. When they were all on the View last week, he kind of hinted that!
"Someone associated with the show said they have too many kids running around there already."
And only that ONE nanny person to take care of them all!!
That is one of the funniest things (overstatement?) in soaps...how they handle kids....they have to populate the town, and add drama to adult's lives...but they are basically driftwood that is occasionally used as a plot point...then they miraculously age 10 years!
I agree, too many kids! (a la "too many notes" from Amadeus!).
This question is for any AMC fans who had never seen the "real" Greenlee-
Are you enjoying her? What do you think?
I had to laugh-the minute Angie injected her new formula of the antitoxin, Greenlee and Frankie opened their eyes, smiled, and now are all better! LOL!
Well c'mon. Jessie's alive and kicking. You didn't expect anything else, right?
Did you see you can buy 'Kendall's book'?
CHARM! (Hardcover)
By: Kendall Hart
She's been called every name in the book. Now, All My Childrens' Kendall Hart starts a new chapter in her life when she writes her own juicy page turner, Charm!
Avery Wilkins is in her prime. She's 30 years old, living in Manhattan, beautiful, smart, and the head of her own cosmetics company, Flair. But her enviable exterior hides deep heartache and painful secrets. Determined to launch a successful perfume, and hopeful that her relationship with handsome and supportive Marcus is getting serious, Avery is chasing her dreams--and running from her traumatic past.
Just when things seem to be on an even keel, Avery is hit with a succession of shocking setbacks, surprises, and betrayals: A drug-addicted colleague who threatens the future of Flair, one boyfriend who is incapable of fidelity, another who may have committed a terrible crime, a long-lost sister who isn't quite who she seems, and most disturbing of all, the sudden appearance of a woman claiming to be Avery's birth mother.
Avery is forced to question the loyalty of friends, lovers, and colleagues, and even her own beliefs about where she came from and who she is. Through it all, she draws on her ambition, grit, and cunning to outsmart her enemies, keep her company afloat, and protect herself from emotional meltdown. But when her archenemy resorts to kidnapping, has Avery finally met her match?
Dramatic, sexy, and fun, Charm! is a wickedly entertaining roman a clef by All My Children favorite Kendall Hart. Brimming with scandal, romance, backstabbing, and unpredictable twists, it is every bit as shocking and captivating as the character who wrote it.

Jane, since you watched AMC on SoapNet, all I want to know is did Angie see Jessie yet? I set my friend's DVR up for SoapNet last night, so haven't seen anything yet.

No, she didn't. SPOILERS----- Jesse made Tad promise never to mention that he saw him. It seems that if he gets found out for returning to Pine Valley, some serious harm will come to Angie and Frankie (of course). There was an intense scene in the car when Jesse dropped off Tad in the hospital parking lot. Just then, Angie appeared and asks Tad who is in that car? Instead of Jesse jumping out and embracing Angie, he drove away in tears, never to return. Of course they don't mention how it is that Jessie died 20 years ago.
I wonder how long they'll drag this out now.

Maybe Jesse isn't meant to stay on the show. Maybe he really left?
Nah, I'm probably wrong. they're probably building up to the greatest reunion in soap history!
