The timing has to do with the election, yes. He talks about the election in the video. BUT, since no one has been listening to either me OR the tape, let me reiterate: Bin-Laden said that NEITHER candidate has anything to do with the safety of America. It has to do with CHANGING OUR FOREIGN POLICY.

Plum, it actually IS a fairly coherent argument. I mean, it's bullsh!t, becuase it's a rationalization for killing 3000 people, but he does give a REASON. America supported the Israeli invasion of Lebanon publicly in the UN. Bin-laden went on the say "why didn't you just invade Sweden?" trying to point out how arbitrary the attack on Lebanon was. Is his argument a rationalization? Yes. Is it the word of a sociopath? Yes. Does it have the tiniest little bit of credibility? Unfortunately, yes.
