New show @ 10 PM Sunday Showtime
Getting great write ups. Stars Michael Hall of 6 Feet Under as a police investigator of serial killers who finds them on his own & tortures them before killing them as he is a serial killer himself
Sounds interesting
We watched this last night--lurid and lovely and VERY interesting! I'll be watching...
When will the first episode repeat?

I'm so pissed I don't have Showtime anymore. First, no more of Gale Harold's ass. Now I get to miss Michael Hall.
Yeah. All you rich folk with your premium channels and your brand name cereal.
If you ask nicely, Calvin, maybe I'll DVR it for you.
Neener.
Wow, Jaily, marriage really HAS changed you. All he has to do is ask?
What can I say? It's a kinder, gentler Jaily!
By ask he means beg, Rath, which means nothing's changed.
I'm scared, Jaily.
I take umbrage!
I will have you know I am the most genteel of ladies, the absolute paragon of social grace, the hostess with the mostess...
...and a bunch of booze.
I should have a Dexter party!!!
You should have some kind of party anyway - I'm going to be living right across town from you soon enough, btw.
Is there nudity?
Only the people he's about to kill...he straps them naked to a makeshift operating table with yards of Saran Wrap and starts slicing them up while they're alive.
Fun times.
I really enjoy the show, but I cannot STAND the Sgt. Doakes character...the lines they give him are straight out of the Fisher Price "My First Script" Workshop; he is also a very poor actor, IMHO...however, the body on that man MORE than makes up for it.
I also really hate his sister...not only does she look like she's half-horse (but we let SJP get away with it, so it's ok), but she is a TERRIBLE actress!!!!! She also really doesn't have much of a point, except perhaps to highlight the inhumanity of Dexter's sociopathology. (She obviously loves him tremendously, and as his only extant family, they make a point of showing how he PRETENDS to love her back, but he really feels nothing).
There could also perhaps be a *tiny* bit less narration...but I sort of like it.
The writing needs to be cleaned up a bit, but it's a great show...(remember SATC the first season? UGH!!!)
saw the previews.....strange.
We only get basic cable, so no change of seeing it til a year later when I can rent it
