After 7 months of temp work, I finally landed a full-time position and breathing a HUGE sigh of relief. I applied all over the place and went on many interviews, but I was hoping to land a place at my old company (not the one I just left, but the one before) as I really loved the people and the atmosphere there. Plus, they have an excellent benefits package and reinstate your seniority where you left off (3 weeks vacation!). They actually courted me and offered a sweet deal with room for interpretation and growth. It's not my dream job, but it has potential to be very satisfying and allow me a lot of options and flexibility. Plus, the group I'm working with is PRECISELY the style and vibe I've wanted to work with for years.

PHEW! I feel like I can finally get on with my life.

Oh, and my temp agency named me Temp of the Month. I'm a celebrity. Don't be hatin'.

Congratulations, that's wonderful news.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

I've had two local friends land new jobs in the past ten days as well. May 2012 bring more of the same!
