I like her, I just wish she'd put on a little more weight and get some colour. She has been talking of late of giving up acting, which wouldn't be surprising she's done so many movies back to back lately (not all good choices) you can't help but wonder if she's stockpiling all that money for later.

What's nice is that, whilst MOULIN ROUGE is so vile to me, it makes me want to vomit, I still like Greek even though he loves it!

I must say I am not a fan of Nicole Kidman. I don't care for her propensity towards "whispering acting." Seriously, that seems to be all she does lately whenever she's having a quasi-serious moment. It drives me crazy!!! She's also starting to freak me out physically...has anyone noticed that she's starting to look more and more like a blonde Michael Jackson?!?!? She's gotten so frail, and I swear her nose is getting smaller and more pixie-like as the months pass! She's turning into quite the fright!
But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

Aww, I love Nicole Kidman! While her singing voice constantly bugs the HELL out of me, I think she's a great actress. I always found her to be beautiful too, IMO.

I guess we'll have to settle for something less, CM2, as I don't have quite the same opinion of Ms Kidman that you do.

nicole kidman kinda scares me. i don't know....
she's still pretty and has a good fashion sense though! and i think she's an amazing actress. i love THE HOURS and a lot of her movies actually... she just scares me as a person.

Well, I'm with ya, CM2!!! There are some films that I don't mind her in, but as a general rule, I think she's overrated. I'm certainly never in a hurry to catch the next NK movie, but if it's something that I'd be interested in otherwise, I'll give it a go.

I used to applaud her dramatic roles but even those have become predictable. Who told her she could do comedy, BTW? Glad she didn't show up for the Producers movie. Go, Uma!

I don't care if she's not a great singer. Her "Diamonds..." is one of the sexiest things I've ever heard.

"Diamonds" is probably her only solo song that I can keep listening to. "Fly Away" bugs me. Granted, she sings well in some parts but overall I don't think she's as strong singing as she is acting. And I love her acting.
