I'm sure this thread will sink like a stone, but begging your indulgence, I thought I'd tell you that Nina Persson (formerly of The Cardigans) has released her first solo album and I enjoy it very much. Thank You.

Jay - thanks for posting. I hadn't heard anything about Nina's new album. Love the song. Just lovely. And her voice still sounds so great. What are your top 3 tracks from the album?

Have to say, though, dreadful video. This should have been filmed on a ragged seaside cliff with the waves crashing and her hair blowing in the wind. Like the iamamiwhoami video for "Fountain".

Yeah, the video doesn't really fit, but I can forgive that.

If you like Animal Heart, I imagine you're sure to like the rest of the album - there isn't a bad song on it. Apart from the title track, I guess my initial top three would be :

Clip Your Wings (my most listened to, according to iTunes)
Food For The Beast (written with Joan Wasser AKA Joan As Policewoman)
This Is Heavy Metal (actually a beautiful piano ballad)
