Not sure if this is in another post, but the Sex and City movie. I read a few days ago (I think in US magazine?) that Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon had all signed on to do a film, but they said at press time, Sarah Jessica Parker had not done so.
Michael Patrick King, however, commented that the cast and creative team left the show at a point where a movie wouldn't make sense (or something to that effect).
I actually disagree with that, I think they could pull it off. I mean they have been creative/smart enough keep the show for so long, right?
Comments anyone?
I found this article right after my last post, of course. See link below

I hope the movie isn't come cute "She's getting married!" thing for Carrie or Samantha. It goes against their character.
Like most of these sorts of projects, if the idea is good and the storyline doesn't go against the tv show, it should be good. I love this show and I adore these women. They could probably do anything in the world if they wanted! They're terrific, smart women and I hope if this movie does happen, it is a success.

I LOVE your icon! I have been looking for something to get as my next tattoo and thats it!! :) Thanks!!!
I really doubt they would go for some cutesy thing, not only does it go against their character, as someone posted, but I think the people who were so involved in the show (they were interviewed in the show right before the finale) would not let that happen. It seemed like such labor of love for them. So, if the movie does get made, I don't think it will go against the characters or the way the show presented different ideas...I don't know, for some reason when I heard the crew and cast members talking about it....I think they would rather stay true to what the show has always been then make a movie that would ruin all that they have accomplished with the show. Just my opinion though...
There are hard feelings between Kim Cattrel and Sarah Jessica. Kim was not at the cast party after the show was finished. It seems it is because the bad feelings that the movie is not being made.
I'm ok with no movie. Don't get me wrong--I'd love to see anything further with these characters. But, I'm happy with the way the show ended, and if there is the slightest chance that a film could ruin what is for me a perfect show, I would rather they didn't.
No, no hard feelings and of course there'll be a movie. There is plenty of money to be made here, folks!
Sex and the City was such a chick show. I never watched it and hope they never do a movie of it.
GOOD, LEAVE IT AS IT ENDED.
