Not paying the electricity bill... or rather, not receiving it

So I live in an undermaintained (read: no evidence of maintenance here at all) apartment building in Chicago. Just before I moved into this apartment, I asked the last tenant about the electricity bill. He told me that in all of his months here, he hadn't had to pay it. I'm now going into my sixth month in this apartment and still have not had to pay the electricity bill. I don't think my landlord (whoever that is) is paying it. Should I start worrying that one day I'll wake up and not have any electricity? I'm moving out at the end of May anyway.

Until last week I ignored these because they weren't specifically addressed to me and way too often I get mail for the dozen other people who previously lived in this apartment. Now I have the nerve to start worrying six months into my stay here. LOL.

OMG, consider yourself lucky, don't worry about it, put some $ $ $ away just in
case a bill does show up! Let us know what happens!
