Check this out! I want to be invited to exclusive events and have alotta vacations, too! Great advice for all aspiring actors and actresses!
Acting As a Career: The Good Points
Good pay. Acting is one of the highest paid occupations in the world. If you dont want to work for Microsoft, dont want to start your own business and dont have a Masters degree, then acting is one the best career choices leading to an ultra high salary.
If you manage to get at least a supporting role in a promising movie, you may be able to live for the whole year off that single salary. Thats exactly what Megan Fox did. When she was a rising star, she got the first big role (she was a supporting actress) in the Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen movie. She paid her whole years rent for this single role as she mentioned in the interview with David Letterman.
Fame. This is probably the biggest reason why people choose acting as a career. There is an inborn need in some of us to be recognised and adored. So the acting career fills this need perfectly. Although fame has certain drawbacks, to some it seems more advantageous to be famous than to remain unknown.
Interesting job. Acting lets you experience the world fully because it gives you many chances to explore different countries, meet different people and be engaged in all sorts of activities. You get to experience so much of what the world has to offer. Plus, you get paid to do what you love. This combination seems irresistible to some and thats why there are so many people reaching for this dream career.
Many vacations. Because acting is not like a usual 9-5 job, you get to choose when you want to work. Of course, once you sign a contract for a role, the hours are set for you. But you decide which roles you want to apply to and when you want to take a break from acting. Generally actors take more vacations than people with usual careers, especially the ones that have broken through and therefore no longer have to seek the roles themselves.
Invitations to exclusive events. Actors like no one else are often invited to the most exclusive events and places. Here are just some of the examples:
Johnny Depp invited Lindsay Lohan to a private island.
Madonna was invited to the Prince of Brunei anniversary.
Charlize Theron was offered to be the face of Dior.
More opportunities. Being a face that people recognise and love opens many doors. Rising actors get invited to become the faces of big brands and earn millions as a result. Aishwarya Rai, for example, became the face of LOreal.
Actors can also create their own lines of clothing, make up, perfume, jewellery or anything else that they can think of. They can be as creative as they like, as long as that doesnt damage their reputation, of course:) If you have a following, you can create a product tailored to your market which almost guarantees success, even if you are not the top actor or actress. Heidi Montag, for example, successfully launched her own Heidiwood clothing line whilst being an actress that is hardly recognised outside the US.
Connections. Youve probably heard of the saying Its not what you know, its who you know. This is definitely the case in the movie industry and being an actor lets you make many important connections. You get to know directors, agents, movie stars and other people that can speed up your rise to the stars.
The feeling of fulfillment. Some people seek the feeling of achievement and fulfillment all their lives and never find it. If you choose acting as a career, however, it is very likely that you will feel fulfilled. This will eliminate the disappointment that many people have of carelessly wasting their lives without accomplishing anything significant. And if you dont achieve the stardom, at least youve tried.
Ability to express yourself. We are all creative and if you find a creative outlet such as acting, you feel great and you no longer beat yourself up for your failures. And thats not the only benefit you get when you freely express yourself. You also start understanding people better because in acting you have the opportunity to temporarily become someone else. Because of such experience you start understanding others points of view and that makes you more flexible and a wiser person.

This is obviously written by a non-native English speaker. My guess is Chinese from the syntax, the awkward functionality and modern slang usage of certain words as verbs. It does remind me of the English in Chinese websites and advertisements offering products for sale, and of that used by native Chinese speakers.
My favorite is how to "do" a Scottish accent, below. With the usages:
"then asking for a feedback"
note: "a" feedback
"you should speak Scottish every day for at least 20 minutes"
note: "Scottish" has become a language itself here
"Many people overdo Scottish accent"
note: the article "the" before Scottish is missing, "overdo" is awkward

Oh, never mind. I did not see this part. I don't want no phobias.
As an actor you are under pressure most of the times. You have to look good, you have to maintain good reputation, you have to perform your best on the set, you have to give interviews… and there’s so many more have to’s that the industry contains. Such pressure stacks make the movie industry hard to handle and only the most determined actors succeed.
Some actors cannot cope with such pressure and they immerse themselves in self-destructive activities such as drugs or alcohol. There are other harmful addictions that stressed actors develop, such as addiction to sleeping pills.
Many actors have phobias for all sorts of things ranging from being afraid of small insects to being scared of closed places. Matthew McConaughey, for example, has a phobia of Revolving Doors. Although it might sound funny for some, those who have phobias know how terrifying it can be.

Posted: 1/2/10 at 4:38pmLucky for you and your stack of underwear, there are lots of very cool vacations to help relieve the pressure. Buy your drugs and alcohol when you reach your celebrirty destination, though. It's cheaper there. (I hope these points are covered at the acting school)
