I think this film is about 12 minutes too long to get the point across.
Beautiful aesthetically,..

Posted: 9/25/13 at 11:56amI dont think its too long i think its just a bit jumbled, it feels like it should have had more a focus. Stunningly shot though.

What would the real issue be Liza?
And Madonna has spoke of that song for years and yes it was a lovely performance.

Posted: 9/25/13 at 10:01pmShe probably had Liz Rosenberg call up Jan Wenner to find out who that scruffy boy was she heard got to perform with Celine Dion at the Oscars.

Posted: 9/26/13 at 3:25pmWhy wouldn't I know who Liz is? She and I have spoken? Did you never believe that I was a confirmed and serious Madonna fan until I had enough of her abuse and her creative returns diminished to Abba samples?

Posted: 9/26/13 at 3:50pmPlease, who doesn't know who Liz Rosenberg is? Not only is she mentioned in most Madonna reports but she's frequently photographed with M.

That performance was quite good actually. Thanks.
I can't believe how grown Rocco is...with some pretty decent moves.

Yeah. that's the Madonna I like. when the performance is honest and pure.
not preachy or gimmicky.
She reminded me so much of the 'true blue' era in that performance.
i guess having Sean Penn there was also a throwback.

I must say...
I am really enjoying this Madonna as of late.
This interview is long,
BUT she discusses her roots, Martha Graham, Frieda Kahlo, all her influences and her reasons for all the crazy whackadoodle moves throughout her last tour....
and she's, dare I say, normal and down to earth and really damn quick in this interview.
not bad M. not bad at all.

Posted: 9/27/13 at 8:10pmI hadn't seen that interview, thanks for posting. She does come across great in this and she is very engaging and honest. The stuff in the tour was not really a surprise as i got most it from watching it, but was still great to hear.
