OLSEN TWINS

I think Ashley is going to snap after a lifetime of being second to Mary Kate and kill her one rainy night.

And does anyone else think their photo in People screams "LESBIAN!"?

To me they've always seemed very centered, grounded, business minded, non-leeching kids with a strong, STRONG work ethic. Why would anyone want to see either of them crash and burn?

Rest in peace, Iflitifloat.

I never had much exposure to the gals but I did read the cover story and interview they did recently in Rolling Stone. I had read absolutely everything else before it, didn't think I'd give two squats about them. But I came away from the interview with the same impressions as you, etoile. It's funny that people like ckeaton need their story to fit the pushy showbiz parent template even where there's absolutely no evidence that it applies to this story at all. Why get bogged down in reality when the cliche is so much more satisfying?

Personally; I am just one jealous Dame. Those two little hussys sat on John Stamos lap and I didn't!

About 85 % of the movie was shot in TO. According to my contacts in Hair & Makeup they were very unpretentious. They co produced this show & I suspect that is where their skill will lie. God knows they had enough on the job training!

I think they're ridiculous. All of their movies are almost the exact same thing. Yes, they're gorgeous, but I feel like they have no talent. Oh well, who cares about talent? We don't need that anymore.

Anyone see the pictures on the covers of this week's tabloids of Mary Kate looking like a skeleton? Yikes!

I prefer a little meat on the bones. Give me Hillary Duff and Lindsay Lohan in a catfight any day!

What if they both did SIDESHOW....

...or not!!!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I have heard they are worth a fortune (a billion?) and I applaud them. They were such cute little babies on Full House. Too bad Shirley Temple couldn't have marketed herself like these kids did. She would have deserved to be mega rich before she was discarded by Hollywood for growing up.

I was watching E! last night - bored as I was - and there was something about the two of them on. There was something talking about the one with the boyfriend (or ex-boyfriend is it now?) that goes to Columbia University. They said his name was Matt Kaplan (I didn't find out until a few minutes later that it was spelled with a K) but I was like "OH MY GOD, she's dating *THE* Matt Caplan?!" - thinking Matt from Rent. But then I was like "Wait. I thought Matt was older than that!" and they showed the spelling of his name. Oy...Broadway has officially taken over all aspects of my life.
