NBC showed it and then they showed it again during the pre-ceremony show. What time do they start back east? They start here at 7:00 (Mountain time)

Did it open the ceremonies? I wonder if they did that knowing it would be in the opening of the Olympics and he is a Canadian?

Yeah not really diggin' Justin Beiber opening We Are The World. However I did really like that rendidition of the Canadian National Anthem.

The opening looks like a bad road company of Hair. I miss the obligatory Wildhorn anthem. The totems look like vibrators with arms.

I like the First Nation recognition. Props to Vancouver. Did they even do that in Atlanta or Salt Lake City (okay maybe that would mean doing the Book of Mormon version of Native Americans)?

I am just glad when We Are The World came on that the television in the bar I was in was in mute.

They cannot seriously be going through with the luge competition tomorrow. How could there not be a postponement? An athlete died and it likely could have been prevented.

My dancing is limited to pogoing and that song did the opposite for me.

Oh and leave it to Gary Bettman to create a situation where arguably one of the greatest Canadian hockey teams ever assembled are not even there at the opening ceremonies because most of them are playing in half-empty arenas below the Mason-Dixon line.

Beat me up if u want to but really not impressed w the NBC coverage. I keep flipping from CTV to check NBC out and both technically and "colour commentary" CTV is far superior.
