Are there any fans out there? About a year ago, I became REALLY obsessed with this band and bought every one of their cd's except for one and listened to them non-stop. Then, it kinda dwindled and I listened to them every now and then when I felt like it. Just recently, I pulled out their newest cd "Don't Believe the Truth" and put it on, since I hadn't listened to it in a while and BAM!!!!, I got obsessed with them all over again. I listen to their cd's all the time and I can't get their music out of my head.

My favorites are as follows:

1.) What's The Story (Morning Glory)?
2.) Don't Believe the Truth
3.) Heathen Chemistry
4.) Definetly Maybe
5.) Be Here and Now
6.) Standing on the Shoulders of Giants (I never listen to this one).

What's the Story Morning Glory was an absolutely amazing debut album; it's one cd that I love going back and listening to and will never get tired of. Their next few albums were disappointments I think. But I really like Don't Believe the Truth, their newest. Hopefully it means they're staging a comeback.

#1Elphie, though you may have been absolutely amazed by Morning Glory, Definately Maybe was Oasis's debut album.

Oh, and what I was trying to write at 12:30 this morning was that Oasis was alarmingly derivative yet interesting. Until about 1997.

"Wonderwall" is also one of my favorites. But, if you think that Oasis is a "has-been" band, try listening to their newest cd, "Don't Believe The Truth." I promise you won't be dissapointed.

Also, I just got introduced to a band called Blur and I think they are amazing as well. I am just in a brit-pop/Rock phase right now, it seems.

I remember Blur from years ago! They had that sonf called "Song 2". It went Woooo hoooo, something something something wooo hooo....
