Either that or he found one of George W. Bush's notecards. You liberals need to be very afraid. Obama is beginning to appear desperate.

How can PRS make her comment re God if she does not believe in him.? In addition, it is not a particularly civilized statement to make about the country you live in.

In answer to your question, religion can be used by both sides in a arguement. If you are not religous, that is your business. If you are, that is also your business as well.

When? Any specific times? I dont think a sane person would be objected to a President saying anything Obama did. If it impedes on other people's religion then yes, there's a problem, or if they over do it, then there's some strife

I wish presidents who aren't overtly religious didn't have to kowtow to the National Prayer Breakfast crowd, but Obama was just playing to his audience.

Now if he says the same things around the time of the National Day of Prayer, that's when I'd be concerned because that's run by Christian conservatives and chaired by James Dobson's wife. They're the ones with an agenda.

I agree presidents who aren't religious shouldn't "fake it" but President Obama is indeed a religious man. It's odd that teh right can slam him for attending church weekly on one hand, and then blast him as a secret Muslim on the other and then blast him again for pretending to be christian.
