A question was posed to Obama about how former presidents would react to not being well liked or something along those lines

He than mentioned GWB,Clinton & Reagan stating "I am sure they would say.....". Mr President, Reagan died a number of years ago so how could he say something now?

Good point. O'Reilly should have said "living former presidents," if that's what he meant.

Sloppy journalism.

Or were you attempting a gotcha for Obama's not saying "I'm sure they would have said . . .?" Not really necessary, since the whole answer is clearly a suppositional one. He can conjecture regarding a dead former president just as much as a living one.

I'm gonna base my response on that line the next time someone says. "What would the Founding Fathers say about..." Marriage Equality, DADT, Universal Health Care, Unions, Income Tax, A Woman's Right to Choose, Equal Rights, Women's Sufferage, etc. etc. etc."

Cuz lord knows...no one can suppose.

No we are not the same person. Judging by when you joined this board, you're either somebody's sock puppet or just really stupid because you're too new to make a judgment like that.

Just because you perpetuate a lie doesn't mean that it will eventually become the truth. If you will look at my postings, you will see that I keep on topic, but others, when they can't defend their positions, will spin off on to some unrelated topic and start asking absurd questions.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I state my point & do not come back as you cannot argue with people who are not interested in a healthy debate on the merits of their positions. All they want to do is name call & smear so I am not getting involved in pissing contests. If & when those who disagree are interested in a vigorous give & take, I am always ready.

Hey Dylan, obviously Ithaca College doesn't teach you logic. Maybe you should ask for your tuition back.
