I'm still wondering what happened to the Obama who said he could no more distance himself from Wright that he could from his white mother.

That sure didn't last long.

How many times do we have to go over this? Hagee wasn't McCain's pastor. McCain didn't sit in Hagee's church for 20 years, he just accepted Hagee's endorsement. When there was an outcry, McCain repudiated Hagee's endorsement.

Yes, but he did actively seek out his endorsement and when all this crap over Rev Wright started and when the media looked at McCain then he rejected Hagee

That's completely untrue. He actively sought the endorsement. Hagee's hateful comments about gays and Catholics weren't enough for McCain to reject the endorsement.

Also, Lieberman is still planning to attend and speak at Hagee's convention in July.
