Why is it always the "negative things the other guy did" that swing people over to McCain?
... instead of any positive things McCain did?
Oh, wait, there AREN'T any. I keep forgetting that.
He hasn't tried to sell us on his plans and policies because they're WEAK. INEPT. BAD. INCOMPLETE. CONTRADICTORY. MUDDLED. OLD-HAT.
The only real reason to vote for McCain is to vote AGAINST Obama, because "he did this horrible thing or didn't do that one. Or he's actually the Antichrist."
There's no other reason to support McCain whatsoever. Certainly not for being McCain.
So his campaign gets Not-Joe the Not-Plumber to not-vote for Obama. He's thrilled to discover a freaky girl who carves a backwards B in her backwards head in order to get others to not-vote for Obama.
Didn't your traditional, American mothers teach you if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all?
... which would lead to a one-minute "silent movie" from the Republican campaign, at this point.

but besty, McCain was a war hero sometime in the past century, how can you not vote for him? How unpatriotic! How socialist! How terrorist! How Muslim!

Count me in the "It made no sense to me" AND the "So, exactly why are you voting for McCain" camps.
"I am open, and I am willing,
For to be hopeless would seem so strange.
It dishonors those who go before us,
So lift me up to the light of change."

Um, there are a lot of reasons to vote for McCain -
He's a maverick.
He's running with a lady maverick.
He was a POW.
He's going to change the corrupt and broken Washington that he's been a part of for twenty-five years.
He's a maverick.
And a POW.
He's 100% white.

Well, see, I purposely said Grant instead of Garfield, because I wanted to indicate that she's a bit nutty, not an assassin-to-be.
