Octuplet mom looks like Angelina Jolie

Anyone catch the interview this morning with Ann Curry? As soon as I saw the mom- all I could think about was Angelina Jolie. She even had the full lips! Still not really buying her story and not sure that the public will either. She looked really good for having 8 babies though! She also said she plans to return to school this fall to finish her masters and hopes the college daycare will take care of her kids during the day. She also said she had 6 embryos (or eggs) implanted (just like she did the other 6 times) and 2 of them split. Said she wanted all the children to make up for the fact that she was an only child in a dysfunctional family- what?

In my opinion, folks like her are just seeking attention, so I avoid any and all coverage of stories like this.

Danmag, I think you're right...her lips are very Melanie Griffith-esque in the super plumped up creepy way. And her nose? She looks like she had a rhinoplasty. Plus she's got the jet black hair like Amy Winehouse. I was waiting for her to start singing "Rehab" or something.

She was married at one point and working, then got injured on the job and collected disability money and got divorced.

Papa, that's how I read it, too.

My favorite part of the article is when she says that she accepts them unconditionally. They're freaking babies. I think it's a little presumptuous to pat yourself on the back for unconditionally accepting a creature that is incapable of speech and completely dependent on you.

It says she worked in the state mental facility. I wonder if that's a misprint and she was actually in the state mental facility.

oh, i dunno, phyllis. i had a long talk with my daughter in the recovery room post delivery and had she not responded appropriately it could have been a very different story.

Oh she's got an agenda. She'll get a few mil for her first interview (with Oprah, no doubt) to begin with. She's probably cutting her parents in with the deal for raising the kids.

According to the NBC psychologist: “When you don’t have a connection in childhood, you go see a therapist,” she added. “You don’t have 14 babies.”

This woman obviously has serious mental health issues. I'm not going to make fun of her. I'm going to feel very, very sorry for her FOURTEEN children.

It's a huge assumption to claim that she's had plastic surgery. She's 33. She should look pretty good. You don't have FOURTEEN children by the time you're 33 if you aren't in relatively good health!

This is sad to me. She's a sick person.

Maybe she sees herself as some sort of Angelina Jolie clone, for real. Scary.

It is easy to assume plastic surgery when your nose is too small for your face and looks like the 927,000 other pert little noses turned out by plastic surgeons on a regular basis.
