Exactly Reg. It was as if Mitt didn't know anyone can go look on you tube and WATCH Obama's speech.
I think in this case, he honestly didn't know what the president said. It's such a rampant RNC talking point it surely never occurred to him to actually check it out. And as I said, plenty of right-wingers are still saying he's right- either by disregarding the evidence or saying that since the President was ALSO talking about movie protests he didn't really mean it when he said "terror."

I wonder who these "undecideds" are. Who hasn't made up their mind months ago? Standard wisdom is that we have 47% (or so) on either side and 6% in the middle that vacillates. But who? I don't know ANYONE who is undecided- unless you just don't care and aren't voting.
This morning I saw some "undecided" voters getting interviewed. The stuff they were talking about put a hill down my spine: The president didn't look at the questioner long enough. Romney didn't talk about kids. Who looked like a president? The kid who asked the first question was excited because Romney offered him a job. Seriously.

I know it's fashionable to bash folks on the right here, but for the most part, I find it much more difficult to figure out folks who are still undecided. The campaign has been going on for months and months, and there is unlimited info on the internet. What more does one need? I guess I could see someone saying, "I prefer Romney on economic issues but Obama on social issues". However, these folks being interviewed just seem clueless.

Thanks, for joining, SFGiantsfan38!
I wouldn't worry about those "death threats"--they're not particularly credible. And if they were, the FBI would have taken care of them anyway. Most turn out to be fake screen names invented by trolls to stir up trouble.
Which is exactly what all of us think of YOU! LOL! LOL! LOL!!!
But how about them GIANTS?!?

Posted: 10/17/12 at 3:32pmI think the majority of "undecided" voters are lying liars deep down inside, just like a good chunk of voters who are registered as "independents" are actually Republicans or Democrats in voting pattern but like to think of themselves as free spirits. When it comes down to Election Day, if they vote, they'll revert to type.

Posted: 10/17/12 at 3:37pmI love how liberals think republicans are violent and dangerous people because we oppose your views on gun control and believe we should continue to have the right to bear arms, but when liberals make death threats against someone who is going to take away their food stamps if elected, we don't need to worry because 'they're not credible." And I agree, I don't think they're actually going to act on that, but I guarantee if people were threatening Obama like that, it would be because we're racist and dangerous people. Double standard? I think so.

We have a strict "no trolls" policy SF, but I'm going to violate it to talk to you about this serious credible threat. Monday, this was all over facebook, but then it was that "Obama supporters" were going to "riot" if Obama lost. The source was the same.
Now I assume that you. like me, have black friends (That's what "Obama supporters" means in this context. If you disagree, if you think Alex means white folks like ME are going to riot, well let me reassure you: Never rioted, never will. Case closed.) So I checked with my black friends- they don't have any riots planned. None. I'm not sure how many black friends Alex has- but frankly I'd be surprised if he had a better grapevine in the black community than I do- him being a white supremacist and all.
So relax, sleep well tonight. No riots, no shootings, no problem.

Posted: 10/17/12 at 3:59pmI'd also be titch more inclined to listen if SF could link us to her posts on any social media sites objecting to all the death threats Obama has received since taking office. Or was she not bothered by those?

I'm a troll because I have different views than you? And because I don't want Obama to be president means I'm racist? It can't have anything to do with his policies that I disagree with? It has to be because I'm racist? That makes a lot of sense.
And what's wrong with having the right to bear arms? If I want to own a gun for protection I don't see why the government should interfere with that. I'm not going to use it unless I'm in danger and absolutely have to. What's wrong with that?

Posted: 10/17/12 at 4:05pmI'm not saying I'm not bothered by the ones against Obama, but I don't understand why you ignore the threats against Romney, but get all hot and bothered by the ones against Obama.

I haven't gotten all hot and bothered about anything. Your first post here was about what many feel are not credible threats. On the other hand, there are been many credible threats on the president's life.
I'm just curious to know if you've posted similar outrage anywhere about those.
For the record, I object to threats on anyone's life. And I would certainly object if they were made against Romney should be be elected.

"I've read countless posts on previous threads on here where many of you are absolutely against guns and think they should be illegal, or very limited and hard to get."
Then it would probably be best to respond in one of those countless threads. When you bring it up here, where it hasn't been discussed, it makes people think you're trolling instead of trying to engage in a dialogue.
