I never did get to see Brooklyn. Not sure I really regret that. lol
THOSE POOR PIDGEONS! *mourns*
Definetly go see spelling bee I saw that too and adooooored it, the book is hilarious and the score is cute, I think I liked it*gasp* better then Avenue Q. The audience participation is priceless in it

I actually want to go see Joe! I've said this a miolion times already... I saw him at Larry O'Keefe's Rites of Spring, and he has got a great voice.
I have to admit, he did a lot better than I thought he would. I was still depressed to not see Greg enter on stage and see Joe instead, oh well. Anyway, Joe didn't seem to make the part his own, he did everything just as Greg would, which in some cases was good because it wasn't a drastic change as to what I was used to. If I wasn't the massive GregHead that I am, I wouldn't have been at all disappointed with his performance, but I do enjoy Greg's accent and singing/performance better, and I'm not just saying that. Overall he did a great job, though. .

Oh that video is the best! I was watching it while I had headphones on and had to force myself not to burst out laughing. I think I need to watch it again...
So glad to hear that Joe did a nice job! It must be hard being an understudy and not able to really make a character your own since you don't regularly perform. Plus you have to deal with that "understudy disappointment" that the audience tends to have.
Hope the show was as good as usual!

the show was hilarious! norb did things that he's never done before. for instance, in the scene where he goes. "and underwear!" he mooned the audience! lol. and then during DRN norb started cracking up right after. and i saw andrew!!!!! he came out so fast and started walking and i couldn't shout to him fast enough, i was depressed. he is a verrrry good dancer!
barb- the slideshow=wunderbar!

Hey guys. I'm in CT now! The drive was hell today. Traffic, rain, traffic, rain, rain, rain...
My grandparents' house has no air conditioning! AAAHHH.
Anyway.
Liz - I WANT TO SEE NORBERT MOON THE AUDIENCE. haha.
I go into the city tomorrow..get in around 6. Orientation is Wednesday - Thursday...and then a friend is meeting me and we're staying until the 2nd. Light in the Piazza on the 1st (!!!!!) and HOPEFULLY DRS on the 30th...if tkts is kind to us..
Not that you all wanted to know my schedule...hah. It's boring in Connecticut.

I think he did a quick moon when I saw it the first time, but being up in the 2nd mezz it was hard to see. But the second time, he had a wedgie and "picked it" - hilarious!
I love Norbert.
Glad you had a great time! I really want to go back and see it again...
~Jessica
Kerrie- I live in CT! lol. So it can't be boring! lol.
Haha. Believe me. Where my grandparents live, in Nowheresville, it's so dull. And there is no air conditioning in this house. Killing meeeee...
Ah well..off to the city in 18 hours!
Think my chances of getting tickets for DRS at the tkts booth are good?

its been up on tkts. but not always at 50%. last couple of times i saw it up it was 35%
Any discount is fine with me. I haven't seen the show yet. So hopefully this is my chance. Though it'll suck to not see Greg for my first time....ah well..
i miss greg... . lol.
I'm actually glad that there won't be GregCam for a week. I would have missed it due to orientation, so it's kind of perfect timing. But then I look at it the other way, and he comes back the day I leave the city. It's like he knew I was coming...lol.
Here's a funny story I forgot to share. During Saturday night's GregCam I was in PA. Had just gotten there 2 hours before. I didn't even eat dinner with everyone so I could watch...ahem. Yes. Anyway. My 8 year old cousin, Brynn, came downstairs because my mom told her I was watching the video thing. And she sat next to me watching for like 15 minutes. And all she kept saying was "Wow, nothing is happening... he's on stage for a long time... all that to see him standing there in a robe?" It was too funny. But she was hooked on watching even while she was complaining. Yes, she's 8. But it made me laugh..
Pointless story..I apologize. It's been a long day. And it is very hot in this house..
That's so cute! lol. Yes, we sit for 15 minutes to see an image of Greg for another minute, but it's worth it!
