So yeah...at least Liz noticed I wasn't around today...
At the last minute I met up with zepka and midnghtdolphin in the city...well and someone who is an asshole but that's another story...
Anywayz, fun day aside from moments, but both of them have never seen DRS so we tried lotto and 2 won, so we all ended up going(my 6th time...oy gavolt). I'm very excited to see the slideshow tomorrow, see what goes on during a show I was at...and apparently Greg had visitors from what I read? Well I'm sure his drama teacher would be proud, he did a wonderful job as usual.
Yes, Norbie is on vacation, which probably helped us to win lotto on a Saturday night. Joe Cassidy was actually really good, I mean granted I've seen the show so many times at this point I have it all memorized as well as the choreography and caught almost everything different(from the fact that he didn't slide down the stairs after GBS to only licking John once as Ruprecht when Norbie does it twice). But considering I'm sure I have bias towards Norbie, I think Joe did a great job. He is a great singer, and well I def think Norbie's a better dancer, some moves were taken out or not done, and some of the comedy worked, sometimes I felt he didn't put quite the emotion into it as Norbie does, but maybe he was just trying to make it his own.
Joanna seemed to be having voice problems, hope she's alright.
And yeah, Greg never came out to the stage door...these visitors may be part of the reason, unless he came out really late.
Oh and total weirdness. This is the third time I've sat in lotto seats for DRS, though I never actually own myself...the first two times we got the last two right seats...this time we got the first two right seats and the last two left seats of the center, so we switched for the last two right seats and I sat in the same seat for the third time! Oh well.
Looking forward to the slideshow like I said, and it certainly seems like it was a fun Gregcam day.
