I, alas, have no stories to share - I have yet to see the show. I may possibly be seeing it the 28th, but he'll be on vacation.

lol .. okay, midtown saw Greg and Julie on a Tues. night back in the spring (while the show was going on) in front of the theatre chatting with some people, and he wondered, if he wasn't working, why would he go "to the office" on his day off?

What the deal was, that was right after the QVC appearance. Greg & family had gone to Philly following that Sunday's matinee; Monday was local press stuff + the QVC show; they returned the following day; so Greg had Tuesday off. When midtown saw the Jbara's they had just walked across the street from having seen Pillowman and were talking to the Imperial's house mgr. and an usher.

At the time Greg gave me the go ahead to give midtown "all the gory details" ... and now you know 'em too. :)

btw, it also happened that that particular Tues. night's performance was bought out by the Daily News -- just a little bit of added, useless (I suppose) trivia!

Sorry you won't see Greg as Andre when you go, Western ... but I've also heard really nice things about Joe Cassidy, who, if I'm not mistaken, should be on as Andre while Greg's out. Hopefully you'll still get to see Greg some other time!

Well, I'm moving to the city in September for college, so I plan on stopping by to see DRS again.

How did you come to be so close with Greg? It's really great - I'm just curious.

Western ... will try to do this in a nutshell, lol ...
Met Greg online a little over 7 years ago. We just sort of hit it off right away, same with me and his wife Julie. I felt like I'd known them forever and they're people who I knew right away were going to be friends for life. We were friends for a good while before the web site ever came up. I love Greg and his family very much. I believe strongly in his talent and also know him to be this amazing person. I admit that I pretty much think Greg Jbara hung the moon. I live quite a distance from NY and CA, so haven't spent much face-to-face time, but the few times I have been with Greg and family, it's been great, like being with longtime friends, which they are. I feel very blessed, seriously.

That is so very cool. He seems like such a great guy, it's really neat how you have such a great relationship with him and his family.

barb- what a great story! so sweet how you speak so highly of greg and his family and im sure that they think very highly about you!

man what a bad day for me involving greg, no gregcam AND when i go i wont get to see him since im going the 26th and he wont be there. oh well, i guess ill just have to go some other time, but hey im not complaining! lol.

everybody fill me in on the goofy/funny things that he does!

ps. my bad about the pics, will only use googled images from now on. lol.
