OH. I thought the -- were blocking out letters or something. But I couldn't think of any bad words that start with f with only 3 letters.

Well, I¡¦m not going to get into to much detail, as I'm sure Dre has already covered most of the stuff but here goes. And sorry in advance about the length.

The show itself was amazing. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life before. Poor Greg didn¡¦t get an entrance applause though. Dre and I started but no one fallowed. It was fun to try to pick out Andrew in the different scenes. For a while, there I thought he was only a bellboy. LoL

This was only Dennis' second performance and I thought he was really good. His German accent was a bit off but still worked. I didn't like his 'Love Sneaks in' though. I don't know why. I love the song, but something about the way he sang it just didn't do it for me. He also missed one of his lines in 'Shuffhausen' but quickly recovered. He was incredible in 'Give em' what they want' and 'Dirty Rotten Number' Basically the whole show he was great in. Minus those two small points.

Loved Chimp in A Suite. Greg was fantastic. Looking amazing in his suite. And I Love how he says Eau de Toilette. (I put just that on repeat on my CD player. And I would love to have him saying that as my voicemail for my cell phone. Strange I know, but it's so random and so am I.) And Norbert was well, Norbert.

At one point, I thought Norbert was going to kill himself though. He was up in the top box but then climbed into the box below it. He's standing there balancing on the railing with no hands. I was worried for his life, but he made it into the bottom box without breaking anything. I loved it when something fell off Norbert's wheelchair. He was trying so hard not to laugh as Sherie kicked whatever it was into the pit.

I couldn't stop laughing though when you see Andre during 'Great Big Stuff' and he's got the handcuffs attached to his belt loop. I think the people behind and next to us though we were crazy though because we were laughing so hard at this during a point in the song where no one else was laughing.

Greg wore the robe (which is amazingly soft) for the 'Morning after scene' (which is hilarious). No towel. Sorry guys.

I'm so glad that I finally understand the 'big pencil joke'. Loved it. Just the look on Greg¡¦s face was priceless.

Joanna was wonderful. She has such an amazing voice and it was great to be able to hear her live. Same goes for all of the leading ladies. I only wish Sara were in the show more. She was amazing.

I loved when Norbert was flopping around on the ground like a fish with the beef jerky. And everything about 'Ruprecht' was great. Especially the ferret dressed like him.

I think Sherie's robe may have been ripped though. It was hard to tell, but it was dragging on the floor (don't think it's supposed to) and Dennis almost tripped on it.

'Dirty Rotten Number' was my favorite part though. Dennis and Norbert¡¦s voices blend beautifully together.

And Like Zis/Like Zat was wonderful. Joanna and Greg are fantastic. And it was great to see this number performed again. (They were both on QVC when the show first opened and performed that number) they both dance beautifully.

It was so sad though when Joanna rejects Andre, at that one point. I really felt bad for him and just wanted to give him a big hug.

After finally having, seen the show I must say that the entire cast was phenomenal. I would have preferred to see John but Dennis was still great I would definitely make another trip into the City specifically to see this show again.

Right, so enough about the show (which most of you have seen anyway) and onto what you really want to know about. Backstage! And sorry about my repeating stuff but I don¡¦t know what Dre has posted.

We were pretty much the first people by the stage door after the show got out and just missed Joe Cassidy. Kevin wasn't there but he had a replacement name Richard. At least I think it was Richard. We gave him our names and he let us right in. It was me and Dre, her dad and my mom. We waited on the stage for a bit. Got to watch a man sweeping up the money while we waited for Greg. Once he came out, he showed us to his dressing room which is at the top of a very small staircase. He said that he was going to go down to do the whole stage door thing, but while we wait we could watch him from the window, make faces in the cam, or help ourselves to his Jelly Belly¡¦s or pistachios. He also had a guest book that he asked Dre and me to sign.

It is so much smaller than you would think by watching the cam. It's a good thing Greg isn¡¦t claustrophobic. While we were waiting for Greg, we each signed his guestbook and watched him from the window. There were a couple of girls outside who saw me stick my head out and they started waving at me and motioned for me to take their picture. I did but I don't know why they wanted me to. Anyway, it was really neat to be able to see all of the things he has on the walls. Like, the pictures and the pig pencil and the drawings that John did for the cast on opening night. It was neat to see the sink up close though. And despite the fact that he sometimes pees in it, it is sparkly clean. I found your pencil WRQ and took some pictures of it. (Will post them soon) Dre told me how soft his robe was so I had to touch it. It is so soft. I want one. Than Jack (dresser) came in to tidey up Greg's wardrobe. We talked to him for a bit. He's very nice. No sightings of Dolly though.

Then randomly my dad shows up. Apparently he was waiting outside by the stage door for us to come back out but saw us in the window, and then just walked right in. no one stopped him. When Greg came back up, he was surprised to see him though but didn¡¦t mind in the least that he was there. Before we left for the tour, Dre and I gave him the candy. She got him Jelly Belly¡¦s and I gave him gummy worms. And guess what. He said that he doesn't like Jelly Belly's and that he just keeps them in the room for everyone else to have. He does like gummy worms though. So thank you for the suggestion to bring them Kerrie. Then all of us posed for our group picture, which turned out nice.

We all went downstairs onto the stage and Greg told us that between the entire cast and crew there are about 75 people. He explained how all of the rigging works, how pieces of set are moved onto the stage and taken off, where they are stored, (in the air) and what each piece was used for. He also told us that the umbrella at the end for 'Dirty Rotten Number' had a piece of Liza Minelli's clothes covering it. That's what makes it so shiney. They entire set is incredible. The whole thing is covered in jewels, stones, and beads. It sparkles so much and is absolutely gorgeous.

In the middle of the tour, though we had the chance to meet Greg's family. It was adorable to see Zach run up to his dad and give him a big hug. For the rest of the tour Zach remained in his daddy¡¦s arms (Adorable) and Aidan also gave his dad a great big kiss. A definite "Aaaaawwwwww" moment.

Greg took a picture with Dre and me on the stage in front of the painting on the back wall. Mine turned out to be a candid one. (Were all moving) so hopefully Dre's will be a normal one.

Then Greg was about to tell us something about the handcuffs but got cut off by who else. But Andrew Asnes! (Never did get to hear the story) Andrew was about the leave the theatre but stopped to say hello to the Jbara family. (He got a big hug and high five from Zach) Greg introduced us all, and I'm sure Dre and I scared Andrew a bit. Once we saw him we just sort of went all fangirlsih.

As we were leaving the theatre, we stopped in a tiny claustrophobic hallway so Greg could point out David Yazbak to us. He waved, we waved. That's about it. But just then, Andrew started to open the door to leave so I quickly asked for his autograph. He was quite surprised by that, but pleasantly surprised. While he was signing, Dre told him about how Jamie loves him so much and how she thinks he's the best bellboy in the world, to which he replied "No, on the planet". Wait, isn't that the same thing?...Oh well. LoL. I asked him if he wouldn't mind posing for a picture and he said sure and stepped outside and waited for the rest of us to file out. We took some pictures and then said our goodbyes.

Thanked Greg for everything and said goodbye to him and his family. He said to make sure and keep in touch. There¡¦s no doubt about it that I will.

Then we were all standing around for about half an hour in front of theatre talking and I go to take a picture of Greg¡¦s poster but some bald guy with glasses walks right in front of me and gets in the picture. At first I was like "How rude, didn't he see me standing there with my camera?" but then Dre hits me in the shoulder and pointed out that that bald man with glasses was in fact David Yazbak. So now, I have a picture of David Yazbak. Profile anyway. LoL

There. All done. Hopefully that wasn't too long¡K..But wait. There's more. The next day, Thursday I won the lotto for Avenue Q (I <3 this show like woah!) and when it got out I still had half an hour before DRS got out so I staged doored that and met Barrett Foa and Christan Anderson. Both of whom are amazingly sweet. And both of whom remembered me from two days prior. (I saw Avenue Q on Tuesday and Thursday) so after that I walked down to the DRS stage door and was the first one there. (they hadn't gotten out yet) so I'm waiting and waiting and finally people start showing up show the show had gotten out and I see Andrew come out of the stage door. No one but me recognized him (unfortunately) but he stopped to quickly say hi before splitting. Then Greg came out but started signing on the opposite side of the barricade that I was on, but once he turned around first thing he does is come right up to me and was like "Hi Traci, Glad you came back to say 'hi'. How are you?" and reached over the barricade to give me a huge hug. I got another picture with him then. Then Norbert came out and signed my program for me too. Then it was time for me to leave.

Oh yeah, we saw Norbert when we were backstage too. He quickly walked by us, said hello then disappeared for a moment. Then reappeared, said goodbye then quickly left the theatre.

WoW. Ok now I'm really done. Here's the link to my photobucket account will pictures. And more pictures from the rest of my trip will soon fallow.

Aww great story Traci! Lots of it sounded familiar...the exact line we got re: the lamp was something like...a cheap lamp bought at Costco with Liza Minelli's langerie on it. Like I told Dre, glad you got to meet the family, Julie's a doll, and the kids are adorable! We saw the man sweeping up money too, lol, I remember wondering if I should go offer to help. You stayed in the clausterphobic wings while you waited right? We just walked ont he stage and were finally told we were supposed to be in the wings. Oopsy. Actually another oopsy moment was when I realized the wings were made up of beads and touched them, and as Greg was giving us the tour, said it's important that nobody touches them so they don't come off. Heh heh.

Aww, and that's so sweet that you got a hug after. With me, it's kinda funny, when I went backstage, it was..the 3rd time I had talked to him in person, and before we went in and when we said bye, he hugged me and kissed me on the cheek, I was like aww. I'm just amused b/c I've seen him often since then, and he hasn't done it since lol. I mean, good reasons I suppose, he's prob a tad dirty at softball, couldn't do it over the table at the signing, etc. but it makes me laugh, maybe he gets more affectionate backstage, I dunno.

Ooh, and thanks for the pencil! And I'm glad to hear you both had such a great time!

No problem about the pictures wrq. And He gave you a kiss. wow. And i thought i was lucky with a big hug. Yeah, we stayed in the wings. No one said we had to stay there, but no one said that we could wonder the stage either. I never touched anything while backstage.(prop or set wise) Just some random things in his dressing room while we were waiting. Like his robe.

Heh that's my issue I suppose. You think we weren't told we could wander the stage, so we won't. I think I wasn't told not to wander the stage so I will. Oopsy.

Yes I saw you playing with the robe lol.

Hey, being a toucher isn't that bad, I got to hold Ruprecht's ferrett.

DRS lotto...let's see I have tried it...I think...4 times total. The first time there were 4 of us and my friend won and it was decided that her and me would go since we were the biggest broadway fanatics. The second time...there were 4 of us trying for just 2 of us, and no one won, there seemed to be more ppl there that time. Third time, my friend left stars in the alley to try and he said there were quite a few ppl but his was the last name called, and then the 4th time there were 5 of us trying for 4 or possibly 5 tickets and 2 won so the 4 of us got to go. Funnily enough, everytime I've sat all the way on the right.

they are the best. And if John's there, you'll see him spit all over the place. It's the best. Also, the expressions when they are trying hard not to crack up. They are great too.

Yup, agree for some variety...but everyone spits but John is the ultimate spitter! lol

also something I noticed, I enjoy sitting on the right more than the left, course at this point, I may rather left for variety but more of the action seems to take place on the right, esp. Norbie b/c the first time I sat I was in love w/ Norbie in the show so I was so excited to be closer to that side.
