I hate when someone arrives after the show has started. I always there in the theatre at least 20 minutes earlier...
Broadway doesn't support wristbands? I want one with a Broadway text. grr
Oh dear shes in heaven, but shes so young, an unfortunate accident?
"Hello, this is John Lithgow with a slight heads up to the listeners out there..."
Heh. Cracks me up.

It seems like sometimes Greg is taking a nap when the cam captures him blinking...

"... chasin' the music. Trying to get home."

Hey Greg-won't be here long but quick hello, glad you enjoyed the playbill.
And audiences can be great but they also can majorly piss me off--no matter how many times you announce to turn off your cell phones, there's always ONE that goes off-Spelling Bee today no exception.
And food...and crackling of bags, and wrappers...they unwrapped during my fav song in Spelling Bee and took forever, gah...I hate audiences who don't listen or think or are courteous to other viewers
Looks distressed!

I bet sometimes he would like to take a nap...you know the usual "just 2 minutes".
Or he was trying to stare down the cam.

West Side Story...I Feel Pretty movie lyrics vs. show lyrics..
Don't know how aware you guys are of the slight differences in the movie and show, but one of the major differences is the placement of two songs. "Gee, Officer Krupke" is switched with "Cool" because it is unlikley that kids who have just witnessed two accidental murders would sing a comedic song about stupid police officers, satiring juvenile deliquence. The lyrics themselves weren't changed.
Now, the only other small change that took place, is show, I Feel Pretty opens the second act, again, that and Krupke are there to I suppose take the edge off, the play is very intense and dark, so they tried to lighten it up. Again, in the movie, this wasn't necessary, so I Feel Pretty was moved from after the Rumble to...I believe before One Hand One Heart. So since I Feel Pretty was sung at a different time, the song was now sung earlier in the day, not at night. So the line I Feel Bright which rhymed with tonight was changed from I feel gay which rhymed with today.
I love this show!
This thread moves way too fact. I cant do anthing on the computer at the same time or I risk missing something, and then I get confused. lol
Annie-my third time. Hysterical, very creative, easily best book of the year, score can be weak at times. Appreciated performances, but will stick to I think Matt deserved the Tony over Dan.
And Meg, I ask too, why did you think Piazza was eh? I loved it! Seeing it for the third time Wednesday. It's the opposite of Bee, wonderful score, book can be weak, but the whole show is just so beautiful...and yes I love Matt too!
Ooh, someone..Traci? Jamie? In old posts earlier today I think when Liz was on mentioned my pencil, what about it?

Edit: I would have done that (actually show your pencil on the cam) but I was haveing to good a time feeling up Greg's robe.
