John talked about how Frankie's a private person, but that he (John), as an actor plays the more vulnerable side of the role because that's what the audience wants to see. He also told us that Jersey Boys is one of the few shows on Broadway to play while the theatre's name is changed and that he just got two playbill's framed that are exactly the same except one says Virginia Theatre and the other says August Wilson Theatre. Then he showed us below the stage where all the wigs are (there are tons!) He says he wants to open for the LA cast (which you guys already know) and he asked where in California I was from and he said he was born in Sac. which is near where I live.
He was so friendly!! Definitely something I will never forget.

Thats so cool Emily! The pictures of the guys at the party are great. I love the ones with Christian, his wife and their baby.
Way too fast! hahaha.
I would love to go back tomorrow! :]]
There was so much we didn't get to do since we were just there for the weekend, but the main thing I did was see shows, which was perfect for me. hahaha.
New York City is such a fabulous place
Emily I'm glad you had so much fun!! Thats so great
They are such sweet guys aren't they?
Did you get pictures with all them too?
Also has anyone been on backstage.com its a pretty cool site. I just joined the message board there too. LOL
Also, I love the pictures of Christian too! Very nice!
Emily, that's so cool that you got a backstage tour from John! It really must've been amazing.:] So happy to hear that your trip to NYC was great!
Glad you had a great time Emily. Your pic with John is cute!
Yep, Christian set the Guinness World Record for the Most Character Voices on an Audio Book, with 241 different voices(!). The book's a memoir called Tell Me How You Love The Picture, written by Edward S. Feldman, who's an old Hollywood producer(?...at least I'm pretty sure he's a producer, heh). It sounds pretty cool, and there are some links for excerpts and interviews with Christian and stuff on the JB Blog.
Just stopping by to say..
I ♥ JERSEY BOYS.

I'm saving this from the second page.
Christine I know I said this when I was chatting with you on AIM the other day but I'll say it again , I'm so glad Annie went well for you.
I'm freaking out about Cats now. A week from tonight is opening night.
Glad Annie went well Christine!
and good luck with Cats Erin!
I put up my pictures from last weekend in my fan photos :]]
Emily I love your pictures very cute
Good luck with Cats Erin, it sounds like fun!
I'm just really ready for Spring/summer right now LOL
I'm so glad John posted the JB national commercial on his blog. I hadn't seen it. :) He's so good about updating his blog, even posting interesting clips from the forbidden site.
I let a friend borrow my Jersey Boys CD, and now she's hooked on it. I said, "Yeah, and it just won the Grammy...." Hehe, I love saying that.
I would love to stand onstage at the August Wilson to get a sense of what it's like, looking out at the crowd. Must be incredible. Thanks for sharing your experience with us, Emily.
A bit OT, but through reading his blog, I can say that JLY is partly responsible for getting me hooked on the Spring Awakening recording, haha.

I can't find the SA cd anywhere! It's so annoying, I'm going to Boston tomorrow, Hopefully they'll have it at Borders, I still have a gidt card to spend there.
Thanks for all the well wishes guys!
Happy to hear that Annie went well Christine! And I hope that Cats goes well too, Erin!
Judy, same here. I was thinking about buying the SA recording beforehand, but reading John's blog and seeing how much he was raving about it was what made me actually buy it, and I'm so glad I did! :]
Oh and Erin, I'm gonna be in Boston tonight too with a few friends. It'd be funny if we ran into eachother, even though that's pretty unlikely, haha.
Yeah I was interested in SA but then I saw how much John loved it and then I went and saw it and I LOVED it. I've seen it 5 times since and it's amazinggggg.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! I'm going back to NY tomorrow Back to the cold. ugh
Hi everyone! Today we had to dissect frogs in Science. Eww! Gross!
I'm so happy for you Emily! John has a dry sense of humor doesn't he. He is such a doll, as Lori would say.
I remembered something when I was in the 3rd grade. I just loved the Scooby Doo movie. The one with Matthew Lillard and Sarah Michelle Gellar in it. Well, anyway at the end of the credits, they had bounus footage and the woman who was playing Velma sang Can't Take My Eyes Off You! And I was obsessed with that song! That was the song that I was obsessed with in the 3rd grade! Very cool huh?

Hey all! I'm back from Boston and I was able to get the SA cast recording at Borders and it was the last copy they had. It was a nice day but it was so cold and windy. So my mom and I spent most of the day looking in shops.
I also went to the Oprea House to see if they were doing student rush for the DRS tour. They don't know yet since it's up to the producers. I would love to see the show just so I could see the inside of the Oprea House.
On a personal note I found out that my siste's baby is a boy!
Glad you had fun in Boston Erin and congratulations to your sister!
Kristina that's funny that you liked CTMEOY back then!
Hooray for the weekend! Hope everyone has a good one.

Thanks everyone! July 11th is the due date for the baby I hope he is born a few days later so he and my brother can share the same birthday.
When the new baby is born I have to make him a Red Sox fan and a Duke fan. I already made my neice a Red Sox and a Duke fan. No neice or nephew of mine is going to a Yankees fan or a UNC fan. I won't allow it
I love the SA cast recording. There are so many good songs on the CD.
