Maybe they're persenting the awards that are before the show.
This weekend was so emotional for me. I had my brother's commissoning into the Air Force on friday and my prom was last night.
Today was bad because we had a small party for both my brother and I because he is leaving for training tomorrow night after that he'll be stationed at Vandinburg Air Force Base in CA. I was fine until he was about to leave and he was saying good bye to us and I just broke down crying. I don't know when was the last time he hugged me that much.
AHHH Kathryn that is so awesome!! haha, love it! Thanks, that was very sweet of you. My mom also surprised me with this cake:
That's me back in January outside of the theater, and across the top it says "Our eyes adore you"...it kinda got messed up cause they decided to move the candles though, haha. Thanks to everyone else for the b-day wishes!
ETA: Erin, sorry to hear about your brother leaving. That really is too bad, hope you're doing ok.

They will be presenting all the artistic awards before the actual televised show. You can watch them online and then they'll make an appearance on the televised show to recap. Best actor/actress always do those it seems. They like to have "big names" present the awards at the end of the show such as best musical, best actor, and best actress.
Rachel:That is such a cool cake! I want one now!!haha Hope ya had an awesome birthday!
Erin:Sorry to hear about your brother leaving. I've never had to experience anything like that, but I can only imagine how hard it must have been! On a happier note, hope you had a great time at your prom!=]]
Well no matter what the boys present, it'll still be great to see them. Even if it is through a video on the internet!!haha but atleast they'll be on the show, if only for a little bit. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE TONY'S!!!
Wow! just realized I haven't been on here for a while I guess the end of school just tied me up alot! Can't wait for the Tony Awards!!!!
Rachel: That is a really cool cake!!! Hope you had a good birthday!!!

Thanks for posting that. I would love to go but I don't live in the city.
Hopfully someone will go that night and they can give us a review.
HEY EVERYONE! Sorry I have been MIA, been sort of busy..and sometimes I get lazy of typing so much because I type almost all day long at work, I hope you understand.
A little late but HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO RACHEL AND KATHRYN!!!! Hope you both had a good one!
Lets just say I'm so happy tomorrow is June 1st WAHOO!
I'd love to go to that!! Too bad Im stuck here in Kentucky!
Steve Kazee actually went to my high school. He comes to the school sometimes and talks with my drama class. Actually back in february, he came and actually brought Megan Hilty with him(his fiance for those who didnt know). He's a really great guy. When he was still in Spamalot, he offered to meet us outside the theatre when we were in the city last spring break. We met him there and he comes out of the stage door with Megan Hilty on his arm. We were really excited because we were seeing Wicked the next day, lets just say it was a really nice surprise! They both signed autographs and took pics, they're both so friend

I met Steve Kazee when I saw him in Spamalot last summer he is such a nice guy. I wish I could go and see him in 110 in the Shade.
I should also say that I loved Christine Pedi in Forbidden Broadway.

I know there is a part 2 but we don't have to start a part 2 untill we get to 5000 posts. So we have a little while longer to go.
I'm all done with school now! *dose happy dance*
WOW!
Either my school gets out really early, or your school gets out really late!!haha

Well I'm a senior so thats why I get out early.
Congrats to Erin for graduating from high school! Rachel, when do you get out of school? AWESOME looking birthday cake, btw.
Happy belated birthday, Kathryn!
Did anyone go to Don't Quit Your Night Job and see JLY? (Thanks for the info, Anakela!)
On the main board, some posters (Anakela?) remarked on JLY--fantastic madlibs to Can't Take My Eyes Off of You. Sounds hilarious! I would have *loved* to seen this....

DQYNJ was alright. I'm one that honestly believes it was much better downtown at Joe's Pub and hopefully now that it is closing as an OffBway show it'll go back down there. John did madlibs to "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You." By far the best line was "Let me hump you baby, let me hump you". Hump would have been just one of my contributions to the song.
He also did the Overactor's Symphony and his emotion was itchy. He looked kinda confused during that though. I am guessing he had never been to DQYNJ before because he seemed surprised at the emotions getting shouted out and they were fairly regular DQYNJ "emotions". Matt Cavenaugh had pregnant, courtesy of your's truly. And I also got someone to be suicidal but I can't remember who it was now.
Wow! I wonder what were the rest of the madlibs he said.
I got a new kitten! I'm gonna name him Frankie after Frankie Valli.

They were pretty good, mostly all inappropriate. Another perk was, "You're just too good to be true, can't take my pants off of you." ...Pants also one of my loud contributions.
I hope someone video taped that. My Mom and I would love to see that. My Dad would freak out. lol.

Wow I wish I was at DQYNJ.
Today was my dad's birthday so my sister, my brother- in-law and my niece came over to vist. We ended up watching the Red Sox Yankees game today. Red Sox won 11-6 which makes me very happy. I hope the Yankee player that was hurt is okay.
