Kathryn those videos were great. I'd never seen any of them. My parents were at that show when they left at intermission, back when rush only made you get to the theater at 8AM to get ticket. They got lots of free stuff at that show: the JB CD, JB mints, and also were spoken to by Bob Gaudio and Rick Elice for their 30 minute extended intermission. I was jealous I gave them the tickets that day but it was my dad's birthday so it worked.... It was just a little over a year ago that happened actually.
The other two from Rockers were great as well! And that voicemail, oh goodness!
Kathryn, thanks for posting those YouTube links! I want a Jersey Boys answering machine message! That and/or singing "Speak!" a la Rent.
John updated his blog today, with some notes on what he's read, and recommendations. At the Ethan Hawke and Robert Sean Leonard mention, my first thought was, "Aww, Dead Poets Society." And about Martha Plimpton--I was happy about her Drama Desk win. :)

Can't wait for the Tonys! I wonder which award they will give out.
I agree, I'd love to see them present Best Musical! Or, Leading Actress in a Musical award. If the winner is Christine Ebersole, then it'd be a chance for Christian (and the guys) to give Christine her Tony. She and John Tartaglia announced Christian's win last year.
I agree! I'd love to see them present Best Musical. Ofcourse, it's just great to see the guys PERIOD!!
Anyone with me on this one??haha
Hey y'all! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
John was the host/presenter at the Outer Critics Circle Awards today. That must have been fun! And it's nice to see him in a picture with one of my other favorites, the elegant Vicki Clark. :)
Seeing as Vicki reminds me of Piazza--I'd love to see a picture of John Lloyd and Aaron Lazar, just so that Erin can go wild over it, LOL.

A picture of John and Aaron would make me very happy!
Sorry about not posting as much. Life is crazy last night I had my last concert and at the concert I was one of two seniors that got the conductors award.
My brothers commisson into the Air Force was this afternoon and I have prom on sunday.
Hi everyone! I can finally start posting on here more often again...senior year is just about done!
I'm really excited about the Tony's this year, great to hear that the Boys will be presenting! It'd be cool if they gave out the award for Best Musical, kind've a passing of the torch kinda thing.
Erin--I hope you have an amazing time at prom. You'll have to post pics so we can see y our dress and stuff! I had mine last Friday in Boston and it was fantastic, especially being right in the middle of the city.

Rachel where did you have your Prom? Ours is in Springfield. I went last year with a kid in my science class. But this year I don't have a date so I'm going with a group of friends.
Ours was at the Hyatt Regency right in the downtown area. I went with a date both years, but I honestly think it'd be more fun to just go with a group of friends, which is what we were originally going to do before we all backed out and decided to bring dates, ha.
Hey everyone! I'm getting spacers, braces, and rubber bands in my mouth in a few weeks. I will be having them for about 2 years. I've been waiting forever! lol.
Also my 7th grade school year will be over in a few days! Soon I will be in the 8th grade then High School. You're little girl is growing up. *sniff sniff* Anyway I can't wait for school to be over! I wanna go to NYC and the beach. lol.
Hey y'all! Kristina, I want to go to the beach and to NYC, too! I'm a little jealous that you are all getting out of school. I started summer school last week, which will continue til the end of July. Summer has a different atmosphere, though, even if I'm in class. It seems more laidback.
Anyway, a terrific new interview with John has been posted on the JBB. It's a three-parter; part 1 is up. I love reading his interviews. A common thread that runs through them is his dedication to research and learning, and how they help him to take smart risks.

4 more days and I'll be done with high school forever! I have no idea what i'll be doing this summer I think I'll be getting a job and I might spen a weekend in New Hampshire.
Judy I also just read that interview on the JB blog.
Loved the interview on JBB...can't wait for the rest! I only wish I could speak as eloquently as John does...oh well, I'm working on it, haha. It's my birthday tomorrow (the big one-eight!!! hehe) so I won't be around much, but I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!
I read the interview on JBB last night. WOW, JLY has such an extended vocabulary. I've listened to interviews and seen vidoes and videos of him. But I think since this time we're actually sitting down and reading his dialogue and I was very impressed! Only one more reason to love him all the more!!
Happy Birthday Rachel! Hope you have a good one!=]]

Happy Birthday Rachel!
Part 2 of JLY's interview is now up at the JBB. Rachel, ICAM about wanting to be as articulate as John when he speaks. I tend to ramble a bit, especially if I'm nervous. So I'm working on it, too, haha. And happy birthday!!
Kathryn's birthday is coming up in a couple days, too... :)
Back to the interview--JLY brings an intelligence to his interviews that is focused but lively at the same time. He gives very thoughtful answers. While he's an excellent actor, through reading his interviews and seeing how he interacts with people, one gets the sense that he would be successful at whatever he chose to do.
Has everyone heard John's interview with Reader's Digest? He had this interview last year. If you haven't, it's well worth a listen--and long (30 minutes or so!).

Just got done reading the 2nd part of the inteview (for like the 12th time)haha. I must say, it keeps getting better and better everytime I read it. I just can't get over how articualte John is. I agree with rachel 100%, I'd love to be able to speak as "eloquently" as him. He would really be a great role model to any young actor! Can't wait for the third installment!
=D
I know I'm late, but happy birthday, Rachel!
I forgot to post this yesterday but here it is anyway.
I might be late but Happy Birthday Rachel! Also Part 3 of John's interview on JBB is up!

Maybe they're persenting the awards that are before the show.
This weekend was so emotional for me. I had my brother's commissoning into the Air Force on friday and my prom was last night.
Today was bad because we had a small party for both my brother and I because he is leaving for training tomorrow night after that he'll be stationed at Vandinburg Air Force Base in CA. I was fine until he was about to leave and he was saying good bye to us and I just broke down crying. I don't know when was the last time he hugged me that much.
